This is Not my topic,,,,I didnt start this topic,,,Gun smithing is not my interest,, ,Knives, hunting, and God are my interests.....Im not here to tell anyone how to shoot or fix a gun,,,,I wish this topic the best,,,, However, I was sent a rather interesting Email from one of my brothers in this topic, asking me to come here and set the record correct about what I was saying and to help calm down the bitterness.... I had no interest, so I turned it down. I received a 2nd email, this time the same person informed me that my words from one forum were turning up on another forum without my knowledge... Now that got my attention.... I am here for only one reason,,,,my desire to make sure people do not misunderstand my posts because they do seem to be ending up here without me anyway..... So..if you wish to read the words of the Mighty DaQo'tah,?...you are in luck, I have plenty! | |||

Swamp Again,,,I saw a question on another forum that I answered. My answer then is the same answer I have now, My manners are just as good now here as they were there and then,,,I have not changed,,,, I have answered questions in a way I thought reflected the Facts of Life for you and I who just are here to visit. We should always remember a few things, and to have good manners,,,,,such will always reflect well on ourselves. The people I chat with might change, but the things I say and the way I say then should always be the same... The things here that need correcting. There is the way some thought that they could copy my words and bring them here without my knowledge. This I have to tell you I find very offensive. I have never posted from one site to another. To do so just smacks me of unfair play. There is no chance for the one quoted to defend himself. Such are the strawman tactics of the weak. If someone posts in the topic you are in, then his words are up for grabs, but to take my words without telling me? The next thing on my list. There was a deep down suspicion that the DaQo'tah on a different forum was nothing but a false name for a different well-known poster. That is an error. There is none like the DaQo'tah, there is but one DaQo'tah, and if you were to spend any time in a debate with DaQo'tah you would soon see that there is no way God would make another person like DaQo'tah. There were some posts here that hinted that I was a boot-licker that I answered to another. This is yet another error. While I try to show the correct respect for my brother posters at all times, I do end up in the most heated debates on any forum due to the fact that I never give up, and, the fact that I can find ways of writing my side of any argument that are completely within the RULES, yet are very confounding to people. There was the suggestion here that I act the way I do because I was being groomed for a position of leadership on a forum. This is such a HUGE error that it's funny. Im not the person you want to control a debate, But I am the one you want to be "IN" the debate. Im interesting, I bring ratings, I bring a different point of view. BUT (And here is the important part), But Im never neutral. I have a point of view that I think is correct, and I am only interested in seeing my point of view come out in the best light. This makes me clearly a Bad choice for a person trusted with a forum position of leadership. There is also one other thing; I get the feeling that some think that the DaQo'tah can be chased away. And don't think you can overpower my side of a debate just because you might actually be correct, and have more knowledge on a topic than I do... Just because you might have more under the hood does not mean you are going to win this type of race. Because I got more gears left to run, and a LOT more gas than you do.... | |||

Posting my words from another message forum is the same as inviting the DaQo'tah to "Come on over and stay a while" Im here only due to the deeds of others concerning my posted writeings. This is not my idea. I have No interest in this topic, I have no interest in posting on this topic, the fact is, that until I received an email telling me to get my butt over here, I had no idea this topic was on the Internet. But like a said, learning that my words have been copied and pasted is like ringing the dinner bell for me. I will come a running with guns blazing. Think about it for a moment. What did you think would happen when I learned my words were posted here with out my knowledge? As I now am a member in equal standing with the rest of you of this message forum, I believe I will have a little look around. Im interested in what is going on around here. It's an 03 Springfield (not an A3)that I had customized about 40 years ago. I bought it from Kleins in Chicago for $39.95 before Lee H screwed it up for us. Wished I had never had it customized but that's in the past. I just recently had a Remington barrel put on as the head space was alittle more than I liked and the bore was looking rather worn. It was free floated and shot fairly well but with this new barrel, I had to do a little stock work. If it ever quits raining and/or if the wind will slow down I will try it out again. | |||

Those 03s are the best ones for my money. I never worry about something that is already customized when it comes to a Springfield. Truth be known custom Springfields have almost as much history to them as military ones. I feel there are lots of original low number ones out there for the collectors. Many collectors don't shoot their's anyway so the low numbers are fine for that. I have Timney triggers on some of my Springfields and I also have a couple that have had a trigger attachment added that makes the trigger fairly adjustable. I got the last one on Ebay for less than $10.00 shipped and it was made by Viggo Miller from Omaha, Nebraska. It is fairly old and I don't know for sure if he is in business anymore or not. Probably not. I well remember when rifles sold for those prices. Klien did become famous for the wrong reason for sure and things started downhill after the GCA of 1968.  | |||

I am not banned...I am not in disagreement with a website owner., but with some people who are just as I am, a guest..so the situation is different, if you were to read what I have posted on another forum you would see this.. someone on the sly tried to use my words against me without paying the price,,,,well the price is now paied. So much bitterness,,,,I was writen to and told how so many think they got burned...But the truth is, You burnned yourself....no one had else anything to do with this situation....only understanding this will lead you to being able to think you way out of this... Like I said, I was told to search for a bridge, but I said"Thats not my job"...However watching someone post my words got my attention, so I came anyway. Customstox, in a way is correct, this being here is not my idea. This is not my topic, this is not my forum, I have no need to post here that I cant overcome, However I will make sure that everyone understands who I am,,,and that when you ring for the DaQ, you gets more than enough of him..very fast... The words that were copied and pasted here were also my words too. (Now you have asked a question and I love to be asked questions.) ANSWER: I have no intention of making sense to you. I don't care what you think of my arguements. I have no intention of convincing you of anything dealing with a point in debate. I note the name of SWAMP keeps coming up, but I have never said I speak for anyone but myself, I never claim to take anyone's side in any question. I don't care who got banned and why, I have stated very clearly on the other website what the nature of our roles on a message forum are. If you want to talk to a poster from some other forum, and they don't want to talk to you, then too bad, I cant help you with that. I have no power to make people talk to you. So your telling me that you would rather talk to another is moot. Im not here to take over this thread. This topic is not within my interests. I don't have any interest in being a gunsmith. It's a nice topic for others, I wish this topic well, and all that, but I have other interests right now that are more demanding of my talents. But given the title and nature of this topic, as well as my name listed here with comments about me, I shall make sure that the other guests of this topic understand who I am, and what I am like to have around posting on topics that they were talking about, and the foolishness of posting about me if you are not prepared for the onslaught known as DaQo'tah. So if you have a fat head thinking that you have made people pay some sort of price, the only price that has been paid is the one you have paid by many people thinking that you are a fruitcake. Blue, thanks for the advice about how to post, but I am not interested. I do not intend to produce some sense for you to read. That's not why I have come. My reasons have been given; I do not intend to engage in meaningful give and take chitchat, I do not have any intention of starting up a conversation that would be judged meaningful by anyone here. I am not in the mood for a debate. If you have questions, I do answer questions, but none about personal things. But as I have said, this topic of Gunsmithing is not my bag. I don't have any interest in it. Gunsmiths are nice to have, Im sure this topic is useful to many, but I have other forum topics where my interests remain. | |||
