Unless the internet disappears or someone has extreme tunnel vision, I can't see how he'll ever book a hunt again. The results of a search using any engine are littered with negative reports.

Just got my advertising package from Blair Worldwide in the mail today. Yeah right! Into the shredder. I couldn't live with myself if a thief got a hold of it and booked a hunt with them.

To the top...

I am also still awaiting a call or email back from Todd Rice, who works with Jeff Blair, about the numerous trespassing issues I had with him in Mexico this past season

I've thought there was something stinky about that guy ever since I talked to him on the phone a couple of years ago. I've seen him brag and post on another forum.

I'm sure that the truth here on AR has hurt bookings but the only way it will really get to them is if we email a link to this thread to every hunter we know and tell them to do the same. We need the word to spread farther than just here on AR

Anyone know what's going on with that OTHER lying SOB Heathington?

xxxxxxxxxx
When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

I am an outspoken individual and I am quick to jump on guys like Ray Atkinson and Jeff Blair because of their shady business practices.

I had issues with Todd Rice this past season in Sonora Mexico and was quite pissed when he never called me back about some trespassing issues I was having. I voiced my concerns on this thread

Todd called me today and while the conversation was terse at times I feel that he was sincere when he said that he wanted no trouble in Mexico. I try to withhold judgement about an individual until I have personal dealings with them and I had considered this issue with Todd unresolved because he had never called me back in late January as he said he would do. After our conversation today I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and move forward

I asked Todd specific questions about this issue here and I agreed with him on one point and disagreed with him on another. I do not believe he is working for Jeff Blair anymore so thats good. He asked me not to repeat our conversation and I told him that I wouldnt and I will honor that

I wonder why the Arizona Attorney General cleared him three times. Usually once an individual wins a case they do not keep going back trying to win again.

More Blair smoke screen and BS?

Still no sympathy here! horse
If people who have been scammed by this guy. If you sent a check or any type of payment VIA USPS, contact a local US Postal Inspector, using the US mail in a commission of a crime is a felony and they may want to be talking to him. I would also contact the FBI, Secret Service for Credit Card fraud or just plain fraud over state lines.

I haven't received anything from them after emailing them to never send me anything ever again last year.

Perhaps others should do the same and notify them that you want them to remove your phone number, e-mail and anything else from their marketing efforts.

I don't know what kind of issues you had in Mexico about trespassing, it is none of my business, but I can assure you that YOU DON'T WANT THAT KIND OF PROBLEM DOWN THERE.

I hunted down there for 17 years and I never had a problem because I was always aware of where I was and that their laws, well they kind of make them up as they go.

I know four hunters from Temple Texas who had a little issue about trespassing and even though they had crossed a fence, looking for a deer that had been shot, they were lucky and got out for all the cash they had on hand, all their rifles, clothing, food, two high rack trucks, and one fairly new truck. They were escorted to the bridge and were watched until they were on our side. All for looking for a wounded deer and trespassing on some politically connected ranchers land. It is a different world down there.

Todd Rice knows exactly what my partner and I think of trespassing and knows that there will be no more warnings given. Todd threatened to sue me for bringing it up on this exact thread but I feel that people need to know what the expectations are when going to Mexico. When you book a hunt in Mexico you need to go with people that have experience and know what they're doing or it can be dangerous

I did not go with an outfitter; we found a ranch and leased it from the owner. I have heard too many horror stories about hunting down there with guides.

Hate to hear you had a problem. Mexico is a special place to hunt, BUT, with all the crap going on along the border, I quit hunting there, in 06. When December rolls around, I am like a junkie off the stuff.

Todd Rice has worked with Jeff Blair. This is a quote from this very thread. Jeff Blair books a lot of Todd Rice's hunters...

So in essence we are still discussing Blair Worldwide as Todd has been one of his representatives for years
