Just thinkin gout loud here.

Maybe we all need to get together at teh next show blair is at and each take an hours time outside his boot handing out flyers to anyone approaching his booth with this story as well as have a frank discussion with them.

Only way to hurt blair is in the pocketbook!!!

Funny...when I walked by their booth at Reno, these words popped into my head...

I bet you weren't the only one that had that pop into their head. What a beautiful signature.

It is free for anyone to use...I highly encourage it.

Wow, I am glad I read this. A couple days ago I received a "Cold Call"from on of BWW people. I get them regularily so this was not a surprise. What is a surprise is after some talk on theis formum about it the only ones who cold call me are Blair and Atchensons (I dont have anything good to say about Atchensons and leave it at that) The conversation turned to Moose in Alaska and I was assured the BWW had a great outfiter in the best location at a very good price for my son and I. It was a little disconcerning at the time that the guy would not tell me who the guide was. However I was interested and asked him to send me more info. The info they sent me was the exact info on their website, still not listing who the guide was. I was going to call back and ask for more detailed info. After reading this I think I will find another booking company to deal with and as for BWW I will send tham back an email telling them I am not interested and point to this article as to the rreason why.

FYI-I use to book my stuff with Butch Mannassee Outdoors and I dealt with Wally Needham, who recently passed away suddenly. Wally was very competant, always happy and had my admiration and I am sad he is gone

Any good booking agents out there that some of you guys would recommend? BMO is still a good company although they were better with Wally alive

I'm starting to be able to sift out the ones just there for the money. Sometimes its an expensive lesson tho.........

I emailed BWW, actually thanked them for their efforts (thought I would be courteous) and wrote that until they can resolve this issue I was on not interested in any of their services. I have not received a reply, not surprising.
By the way, anyone know of good tuskless or PAC Elephant hunts availabe for this fall that wont break the bank?
Shorter trip, probably 10 days

Yup, for a professional their website is amatuer at best

Right from BWW website

"""How to book the hunt of a lifetime -

1. Select one of the fabulous hunts we offer.
2. Contact a Hunting Consultant for a first hand account of what to expect.
3. Your Consultant will issue our contract to you.
4. Read and sign the contract - send it back to us with your deposit check
5. Sit back and relax - Let us do the rest!

Our job here at Blair Worldwide Hunting is a rewarding one. Quite simply, We help you, the client, fulfill your dreams. These dreams come to you in many different ways; it might have been an article you read; it may be from your hunting buddies; or it could have been something mentioned while we were booking your current dream for the year."""

Pretty much says they take full responsibility right there does'nt it. I like the part where it says they will issue their contract. That would indicate that they are responsible

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

As always great Photo’s and a Great Blog. I too believe we come full circle as I am back home in Kingman, Arizona looking at the Vistas of my Childhood after a life spent in the search of wild critters and wilder Mountains and am happy to be here.. Via Con Dios Old Friend…

He is a scumbag and a thief. Remember the thread about him "missing?" The only bigger bag of bullshit on AR was Llamapacker claiming Nixon stole his travelers checks.

But, from some of the messages I am getting from people who don't post on AR, I think word of mouth is probably doign a good job of making people avoid doing business with them..

There is no telling how many thousands of dollars more that incredibly stupid decision has cost him. I mean, even if he was legally right, which is highly doubtful, he has to know he was morally wrong and should have returned his commission at the very least. I hope to hear daily that he is out of business but the message apparently hasn't gotten out to enough people yet.

Latest email from BWW, every week.........
be sure to tell all your hunting buddies!!!!!
From the reports I have heard about the "Kamchtka Bear hunts" you get on an old military helicopter, fly around until you see a bear, land and walk up to the bear and shoot it with a borrowed russian rifle. Some hunt, huh?
Blair is advertizing it as snowmobile hunt. I would guess along the same principals. Drive around on a snowmobile, see a bear, get off and shoot it with a borrowed russian gun. hoooraaa! I'z a bear hunter

Now is your chance to hunt the famed Kamchatka Peninsula, for brown bear.
Best known as the densest populations of brown bears in the world, the
Kamchatka Peninsula, is a natural choice for the serious brown bear hunter.
Especially those of you that have been unsuccessful in North America! This
area has the highest success rates around. Spring hunts are conducted from
snowmobiles. The hunt is 10 days in length and the hunt price includes
guiding, lodging, meals, interpreters, field preparation of trophies and the
license for 1 bear. Our arrival point is Petropavlovsk on the Kamchatka
Peninsula. Hunt price - $12,000.00, Trophy fee - $3000.00. This hunt will be
escorted. (Limited openings in May of 2014 and 2015 - Book your hunt now)

Call our offices at 928-779-2232 and speak with a Hunt Consultant to get
further information on this great hunt. If you are not looking for a bear
hunt, call and put us to work on one of the other 700 hunts that we offer.
Be sure to forward along to your hunting buddies.

Good Hunting!

Every week...like clock work I get another unsolicited email from this POS

I have a question: Look at who Blair is listing as his operators. Some are very well known. How can they still be using Blair as a booking agent knowing what has traspired?
Also, SCI kicks MS out of the convention for showing his video's. How come's SCI doesn't do anything to this scum bag who cheated a client out of a ton of money-well known fact. MS never cheated anyone

This company is unbelievable! More mail and phone calls. Second time I've asked to be taken off the list, third time I turn it over to the Feds since I'm on the do not call list. Never met them, never spoke to them at a show, never gave them my address or phone number. They must get it from hunt drawings.

Do they really think I'd book a hunt on unsolicited e-mails and phone calls?
