I feel some are being intentionally obtuse. Do some of you not understand, the creditors participate in bankruptcy proceedings. If they have concerns about misrepresentations or information being withheld, they have the ability to express those concerns. Not only do they participate but they are typical represented by far better counsel than the debtor. Very simple really! Apart from the lawyers and career criminals. We are ALL laymen. Which means a THIEF is a THIEF is a THIEF! Taking money from ANYONE which does not belong to you IS A CRIME! In Corey’s case, it appears to be done on PURPOSE! Someone had bad luck and business went bad. Quite unfortunate and may be understandable. Going bankrupt means you are left with no money. How come in a very short order, Corey books an 80,000 dollar hunt. This is not the total cost of the safari. He have had to pay trophy, fees, air tickets ets. Not really… most of us a rational human beings Saeed. We know these things have nothing to do with one another. Now, as to how he was able to “rebound”…. Not that it’s relevant to Andrews behavior or role…. He was able to restart… he can tell you as much or as little as he wishes He was able to partner with some Industry Veterans from Fortune 100 companies who helped him get a fresh start. We all need a little help in our lives I think we would all agree. Like most businesses, you don’t really know if you will be successful or not. He had nowhere to go but up and no choice….. Very fortunately, things went very well. Sometimes in life there are opportunities to be in the right place at the right time with good people. So yes, things turned around very positively. One thing you may remember from this is he had/has a Sick Father. I did too and lost mine at his age similarly. I also made a choice….to do some things I loved while I was fortunate enough and young and healthy enough to do them. He and I talked about these things many times. I did my first safari 21 years ago and have done many now. I introduced him to these things and we went to DSC together…introduced him to this forum and he met many others that helped introduce him to this and yes…”he got the bug” that most all of us here have. So….he decided, like I did long ago, to try and do some things in Life that are indeed adventurous and do them while he was young enough and healthy enough to do them…after all…tomorrow isn’t promised to any of us. My father before passing urged me to do these things and I certainly encouraged him to do so going through the same thing. (After all…not all of us are born rich) So when things turned around and became very positive a couple of years later and through encouragement and engagement he went on his first safari… A Buff hunt with Buzz He decided then to try and take his father on Safari in the very last stage he would be able to while there was still time….albeit not much time….time you can’t get back… And….. this is where Andrew came in and solicited and sold a hunt that would never take place….all of which has been rehashed ad nauseam And now where character assassination comes in from people with zero knowledge or basis to hurl smears at…someone who tried to embrace this community. One could debate whether one should save money or invest money or…go on safari. One who is young can believe they still have 20-30 good years still to work so maybe do these things while young and healthy…. | |||
