Just out of interest, I am going to shoot the same ammo in other 223 rifles we have, and post the results.

Also, I am going to look what 308 rifles we have, and might do the same test in these as well.

Looks like I should have stayed with first guess. With rules and math like this, these two should make excellent Gov't employees.

The extreme difference between all rifles and all rounds looks like it was 3505 max, 2877 min, yielding a difference of 628 FPS.
