We are going to give a ONE HUNDRED TRILLION Dollar note to the member who makes the closest guess of what the velocity difference is going to be between these 14 rifles.
Velocity Difference between rifles regardless of bullet weight, my guess will be 217 fps. That number has not yet been chosen.

My number was based on exactly that assumption.

Saeed,
Would it be to much to ask the 1,000,000,000,000,000 prize be paid in oil?
99fps is the winner...I am ready to collect my prize!

I must be reading something wrong? It looks like #8 had an ES of 211fps(3196 v. 3407).

Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.

It is all Saeed's fault again. He gave me bad instructions. He said pick the first high number and I did.The he tells me off because he put it all on his post. He is not the judge. I am.
And here I announce 211 fps as winner.
Who has this number?
Post your name, address, telephone number, social security number, party member, age, how many children you have, how many wives you had or have, your birth certificate. And if you are an illegal immigrant in the country of your choice, mention that too. So we don't inform the tax authorities
Saeed is getting mad at me. He said this is the last job he gives me.
He told me that 35 years ago too.

Hot CoreGreat Test!

Just out of interest, I am going to shoot the same ammo in other 223 rifles we have, and post the results.
Also, I am going to look what 308 rifles we have, and might do the same test in these as well.

Hah!
Looks like I should have stayed with first guess.

With rules and math like this, these two should make excellent Gov't employees.

The extreme difference between all rifles and all rounds looks like it was 3505 max, 2877 min, yielding a difference of 628 FPS.
