The above quote, if misinterpreted, could come across as a little harsh. After all Hotsh$t is having a hard time on this thread. 4415 views and 160 posts and not one of them supporting Hotsh$t's views, posts, or stories. Pitiful to say the least that no one would come to his defense with all the friends that he has cultivated here. Let's see there's............no not him and then there's......................nope he hated Hotsh$t so maybe there's........................ naw he call him a pinhead....................Ok I give up he has no friends nor defenders.

On second thought I support your post 101%

He hasn't ever come clean on his own credentials as an engineer. Do we really think he can come clean on his vast expertise in killing elk?

Yale, are you serious, or just trolling? No disrespect intended. Earlier I mentioned for someone to post their 7X57AI data, and I'd do a comparison of my 270's. If that is of interest to you, please start a new thread. And we'll discuss it.

As I said earlier, I have no more interest in this thread!

Kaboom Ye ole flock shooter, how are ye?????

You know I think you're right we did elevate him to infamous dimensions. Only he in his own mind knows the true extent of those "thousands and thousands" of whitetails. Kind of sad and pitiful to watch it all happen right before our eyes, right?? Well, let's wish him well in his remaining days.............

I'm doin good, fawn sniper......

I see that you've been amusing yourself and others with this compulsive obsession to make HC wrong. I'm glad that you feel that's working for you. Maybe there's relief in sight?

Famous/infamous celebrity - I'm sure it makes little difference to HC. I don't think it's pitiful at all. It's amusing to me, because apparantly this is what HC wants. Otherwise he would not adopt the manner in which he writes. Watching the two of you fight is like watching a squabble between two old lesbians in their 20th year of common law marriage. The two of you know which buttons to push, so to speak. Wink

If all this is your way of paying respect, well - you fill in the rest of the sentence. Wink

Some people, maybe HC, would intrepret all this attention as respect, especially with your cordial gesture. middlefinger I'm sure you are sincere and understand.

Now, signing off "best regards" is usually considered more friendly.

So, best regards.

Awh BS, HC. Tell it all. You didn't mention the other class, required curriculum for Southern Gentlemen - Charm School. Wink

WTF happened there? Did you flunk out? Are you really from the South? Or, are you really a Yankee, out of your realm? Or perhaps you just get more satisfaction out of telling people they are idiots, than charming them? Since we already know about how it's going here, how's that working for you elsewhere?

Really though, I suspect that you are a graduate student, Troll University. You are very good at it, BTW, a born natural. Congrats on finding a niche.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troll_(Internet)

http://curezone.com/forums/troll.asp

My usual rate is $100 a tip, but, HC, since you appear to be a student with "special" aptitude and potential, as a professional courtesy, I'll give you a free Troll Tip of the Day:

It's real simple - two words - be subtle. Think of it as an art form. Of course, a master is when they don't even know they've been trolled. Big Grin If you have to point it out to them, well there can be some satisfaction in that, but it's not the best. A sign of a real amateur troll is when he gut-hooks one. In such case either the bait was too good, you rigged it wrong, or you let them take it too long. I think in your case, your timing is way off. Remember, the real art of trolling is catch-and-release. A pro uses barbless hooks, and sets the hook gently, or at least in proportion to the size of the fish, which is usually very hard to judge in advance.

There's a lot more where that came from, so if you feel the need, I do offer quantity discounts on troll tips, or long term lessons. Wink

Touché, but you did quite well yourself ol'chum.

I'm O.K. with being stupid, (you pointed that out earlier)
but not O.K. with not liking a rifle that shoots a .277 bullet. I will keep on using it.
I am quite a bit behind you in deer killing but I am afraid I am way in front of you with Elk.

Hot Core. It looks like you get the benefit of two freebies today. It's your lucky day.

Talking about the difference in subtle, and obvious. The above quote is bait from one of the best trolls on this forum, although quite the spoil child. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spoiled_child

Some people, lacking an inherent sense of humor, can't understand the real meaning of subtle, and statments made tongue-in-cheek. They read it like they are pre-disposed. So, in a way, my comment was a test, if not bait, intended to see who appreciates humor, or irony. Ya just gotta spell it out for some folks.

The truth and irony is that we all have a little bit of troll in us, and we like the amusment as long as it remains sorta civil. The problem with some is that they take it all way to serious, and especially themselves. They can dish it out, but given a dose of their own medicine, they get all indignant. Real hypocrites. My posts have used metaphors, trying to highlight the humor and irony, which is the challange. Keep it fun, and informative.

Well, excuse me ole buddy, I thought you were jokeing. I got a really good laugh out of that one. It's almost as good true, as it was a "yarn".

Thanks for the laugh, and the story. I was in the frame of mind of metaphors at the time, and quickly saw the metaphorical irony of your post. At the time, I thought the "yarn" thing was a givaway, and your story was a clever metaphor. I failed to see it as the plain truth as well.
