Yes after 10 pages I have an idea.

Let the AR forums get back to "business as usual"

It's funny how teancum gets some kind of pride by continually updating us on how many have viewed and replied.

Is it the author or the subject that deserves the recognition and accolades?

I know the answer to that....

Old age is a high price to pay for maturity!!! Some never pay and some pay and never reap the reward. Wisdom comes with age! Sometimes age comes alone..

Naw. Martyr is too much. http://www.answers.com/topic/martyr

I'm sure, given the degree of respect that teancum has for hotcore, the secret aganda was to elevate HC's status on this forum to that of Esteemed Troll. After all, he was the standard to measure all trolls by, even teancum. Wink

Of course, I could be presuming too much. It's likely the real aganda was simply Steamed Troll. Roll Eyes

curious, scott - are you able to provide the name of whomever is putting a gun to your head and forcing you to click open this thread?

if you're looking for a life, perhaps it should start with some self-evaluation.

Exactly.

If you are not interested in this thread, don't read or post in it, then it will die a natural death - especially since the objective was achieved
yet it is still going.

Of course it is. And like the site of an honest-to-goodness trainwreck, some folks can't keep behind the police protective barricade. Something innate in them keeps forcing them to try to undue the carnage; like they can turn back the clock to before it happened. Of course, they never do. But they keep trying nevertheless.

And so it is with this thread. Some Utopian do-gooders and some of Hotcore's buddies desire it locked down, or better yet, deleted altogether. They are the thought police and know what's best for all AR members. I have no doubt they have been pleading the management to do that very thing since this thread started. Saeed has not caved to their demands yet.

The reason for many dumb one's but also some very funny one's as well.

I do admire it when someone admits it.

Means nothing. The shooter probably spined him with a .243 but was embarrassed to say so, so said he used the .270.

Anyway, the ammo needs to be calibrated in a lab to SAAMI standards to be believable.

What a quote by Einstein. Wonder if he's in Heaven or Hell right now?

Man is born 100% self-centered and amoral. One's parents civilize one by the carrot and stick method. We teach them that "you have to get along, in order to get along in society.".
The ones we incarcerate are the ones that missed too many of the classes. That's the problem with our society these days, not enough "Quid Pro Quo".

Here's another quote Rich. I think it has the answer to your question. It seems arrogant at first, but not so much so, after you think about it for a while, considering that Profound Truth is revealed to each in a unique way and time, so that one can accept it.

"One has a feeling that one has a kind of home in this timeless community of human beings that strive for truth. … I have always believed that Jesus meant by the Kingdom of God the small group scattered all through time of intellectually and ethically valuable people."
Albert Einstein, quoted in Einstein's God — Albert Einstein's Quest as a Scientist and as a Jew to Replace a Forsaken God (1997) by Robert N. Goldman

I mean very few of our members would "admit" to killing thousands of deer.... but no old Hot Bore... he just jumped right out there and offered us that stat just to prove his "endless depth of knowledge"...

Quite a claim if NC has only a heard of 110 - then Hot Core exterminated the specie there, the Nature Conservation Dept must have been upset.

I just love the classic "printer" scene from Officespace. Big Grin

Couldn't find the original but there are many remakes.
