Lame.

You are either like him, or as Jesus said "like your father the devil". Which are you?
I don't know you, so maybe I can't say, but I ask you "who are you like?"

I respect that Saeed. And, if I believed there was no God, I'd say the same thing. Heck, I'd say it for a huge number anyway.

And, If I wasn't convinced of the Lordship of Jesus Christ, I'd live my life like you live yours, albeit within a much more modest budget.
I'd try to experience everything life has to offer that I desire with the motto "eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die."
After all, we only get one life on this world and then, either: 1. nothingness, or 2. Heaven or Hell.

I still live that way, it's just that when I met Jesus, many of my desires changed. Some remained.

That has zero to do with this thread.

You do realize it's also rather self-righteous don't you? You jumped on Andrew for expressing his opinion about a hunt/shoot that he felt didn't meet a standard. His standard is self imposed on others by him right or wrong. You are now imposing your standards on all of us based on a book.

I'm happy for your love of Jesus but don't judge Saeed, an incredibly generous man, Andrew, or myself based on your book. If you do it's self-righteous.

Cheers
Jim

How did I judge Saeed? i started by saying "I respect that". Then, I said that if I wasn't a believer, I'd have the same viewpoint. I thought I was agreeing with him. Common ground.

It seems that, once again, some people have the reading comprehension of very small children.

Talking to some Anti-Christians, which it seems you are, is just like talking to a liberal democrat. you read into something said by someone what you want it to say so you can make an argument with that person about what's going on in your own head.

Edit to add. And, you miss the whole point repeatedly about why people objected to Andrew starting this thread.

A suggestion Reverand. You have made your point. And it is clear that many on this thread agree with you. I am not sure what further value to the debate or yourself is added by continuing to go on. I would let it rest. Just a thought.

I take that to mean it is "not yours".

This thread was certainly interesting. I learned a lot about people on this, the good and the bad. However, I am glad it is over.

Nothing to do with hunting...but, Mr. Alaska....I think it's a little bit more than a book.

Bill, The name's Jim. It's way more than a book. That book (in it's many interpretations and iterations) have lead many a person to peace and happiness. It's also lead many a person to use it as an excuse for all kinds of hideous actions.

Problem is not the book. Problem can be the interpretation and subsequent perceived power it gives to some humans.

You see what I mean about those who claim to represent God??

Anything THEY say is right, and anything YOU say is wrong!

And I thought one's relationship with his God is a private matter between him and his chosen God - and no one else.

Those who are preaching are only interested in separating one from his hard earned money - all by telling you an endless list of lies!

First we get a bunch of clueless farm boys from South Africa trying their best to educate us on what buffalo hunting is.

Then we get a what looks like a clueless preacher trying to tell us what God is!!

The mind boggles of sort of those who claim to be "professionals" coming from the South African hunting industry!!

Keep at it, you all are just proving my point!

Please stop now.

You have really been overdoing it on the insults.

We are not clueless farm boys as you suggest.

Would it be okay if we had to put you in the category of rich middle eastern hunter who likes to blast everything he sees? Because a lot of clients coming from your side really just love to whack em stack em? I'm sure you are not the same and it's not fair to label you as such.

Just because some of our hunters cannot afford to hunt Tanzania or Zimbabwe or Zambia, they are inferior to you?

What do you make of Larry Shores comment of his high fenced buffalo hunt that was sporting?

Also I'm sure if you take those PHs who have commented on here like Phillip, they will prove to be as capable as any other PH.. I guarantee you they are certainly more than just farm boys.

And if you guys think that all hunting is done behind high fence then your are completely mistaken.

There's a helluva lot of genuine free range land which can be hunted and is much more fair chase than some of Andrews hunting. We just spent three days hunting Vaalies and only managed to connect late on the last day!

Don't paint us all with the same brush

1 I own my land paid for it my self.
2 I don't have to wait on the government to issue a tag or licence.
3 I decide my own quota.
4 I don't have a season decide for me by some idiot, I hunt when I want!
5 My FAMILY are with me all the time( BELIEVE IT OR NOT EVEN OUR FARM BOYS HAVE FAMILIES) no going off to the bush and not seeing them.

So if you thought for 1 second you insulted this farm boy you have made a mistake!!

However our dear host after 11 pages you have still not answered a very simple question what is A PROPER BUFF HUNT?? NOW be A GENTELMAN FOR ONCE, YOU SHOULD TRY IT SOME DAY IT IS REALLY NOT THAT HARD... and just answer that simple question without in insulting anyone.

SAEED,
seriously, you have been politely asked several times by members to describe what you mean by 'PROPER' BUFF HUNTING.

Why do you keep refusing to educate AR readers on your definition of that term?

Why mouth off such a thing and then leave people in the dark?

Good for you for having your own farm, and to hunt on it on whatever form or shape.

It is your property, and you can do with it whatever you wish.

I just hope you do not tell prospective clients that you are hunting wild and unfenced animals.

The hunting industry would be dead if it was not for farmers like you who are breeding and taking care of huntable animals.

I support those wholeheartedly.

Trouble starts when those who have no clue of what actual hunting in the wild is, and try to compare hunting on a farm, where one can pick and choose whatever, and how many, animals he can shoot to hunting wild animals.

And those who are asking what real buffalo hunting is, book a buffalo hunt in Tanzania or Zimbabwe - with a PH who knows his job, and see for yourselves.

What about young/or aspiring hunters who cannot yet afford a PROPER BUFF HUNT,

can you educate/describe for them, what a PROPER BUFF HUNT is?

oR is it a deeply held secret??? Roll Eyes

You are avoiding giving an sensible direct answer just like a duck & weave politician... thumbdown

You have asked the people from AH to 'just tell it how it is',
But you yourself now choose to be vague and not tell AR readers what a PROPER buff hunt actually is.

...Why not practice what you preach?

What is so difficult or hard about you defining a PROPER Buff hunt, for the hunter education benefit of readers?

provide 'PROPER' Hunt report? , you mean like a 'PROPER' buff hunt?,...good grief.. 2020
......Have you lost your marbles?

WAKE-UP man and OPEN YOUR SMALL Narrow MIND!....iTs not about ME,..
its really about the thousands of readers/members of AR you need to thoughtfully consider.
That really now deserve to know what a PROPER BUFF HUNT is.

instead you make a silly-lame childish excuse to avoid explaining yourself to thousands of AR readers.
Yet you be the same person that criticised AH members for being poor on their hunt description.

-Why can't you back yourself and provide a def. on what a PROPER BUFF HUNT is?
-What is so difficult about you defining a PROPER Buff hunt, for the hunter education benefit of many readers?

You should instead carefully consider what you and your PH looked like when filmed babbling redneck drunk in camp.

SAEED leaves a mark on himself by not educating THOUSANDS of AR readers as to what a PROPER buff hunt is.

IF he is going to accuse others for not conducting a PROPER buff hunt, he can at least describe what a PROPER buff hunt is!!

instead he takes the lame duck & weave politicians approach.

Saeed, all my hunts are exactly as I sell them to the clients, THAT is why my bushiness is highly successful, you will not find anything on the internet negative about me or my company, and I am going to keep it like that.

I just honestly think we get allot of negative press and that companies like mine and many others don't deserve. we are doing our best. And I can honestly say my bookings was as good as any year and that we are having a great season.

I will ask some clients to post reports on photos on there hunts. The problem is most of them don't want to because they don't want to get trashed by the so called purist on AR...FOR SIMPLY DOING WHAT THEY LOVE HUNT SHOOT THERE GUNS AND HAVE A GOOD TIME...

IF I in any form insulted anybody I am sorry.

Good hunting.

Can anyone please link me to a Hunt Report thread on AR where a poster got trashed because the hunt was in SA?

Thanks,

Jeff
