I'm daydreaming about a 12 gauge double falling block with screw in paradox rifling chokes.
Dare to dream.

Just an " FYI "..

" IF " I were having one custom built (45/70).. it would be specifically ** regulated for " CEB bullets & Loads **", along with optimal barrel twist rate.

Thanks. He's suggesting a 405 built on the smaller action. Base prices are actually 2 thousand dollars higher than posted on the
web site and cost was a concern on my part.

My website now has the updated prices. I had intended to do this weeks ago.

This month has been the busiest of my life as far as I can recall. Helping my wife with her new business, a feed store in Diana,tx called CB Feed and Seed, and managing my new employee, Aaron Little ( He's doing excellent work and I'm pleased to have him in my shop).

Larry's rifle is getting close to poping the first few primed cases.

As much as I hate to raise my prices, at the introductory price, I am making about $25 per hr gross. With a little over one year backlog, it is past time to bump prices to a level I can operate and grow with.

Hey guys!
This should not be a surprise
Biebs and I have been telling you to order now, because the price had to go up.
Bail said mine should be ready for my jumbo hunt in November less the engraving. I can't wait to handle it.
Bail said I should be right at 11.25 pounds.
Soon as I get the gun I will post a report.
I feel privileged to be getting the first Bradshaw falling block double in a Dangerous game caliber.
Thanks Bailey
Larry

Glad I ordered when I did. The way I see it, that paid for most of my upgrades.
Also glad all the bugs are being worked out just before he builds mine!

Lifetime free upgrades? Sounds like tinfoil hat stuff to me.
I'm sure glad, though, I am grandfathered in on future builds at the introductory price. Wink

That's was the deal we had after the first bottle of Jack Daniels.
Gee I can't believe you don't remember.
I was just before you started dancing on the table.
Jon was there but he was sleeping on the bar.
Oh well

Nice try home slice, but I haven't had Jack Daniels since my last year in High school.

there was a little vino in Italy in my Navy days, but you weren't there I and I wasn't building rifles then, so that episode is out.

Besides, I had bad hips when you ordered the rifle and I hadn't danced in a couple of years....on sound floors...let alone a table.

The defense rests.....

Maybe it was that guy in a dress you were talking to just before leaving the show :-)

Larry scores......until he realizes he was holding hands with Jon and can't recall if there was a dress involved.

I have to say this has been a fun thread.

Bailey, would it be possible to get it lazer / computer engraved like a old Alex Henry rifle? What would it cost? Just curious.

BTW, that falling block DR on the website looks awesome & it deserves a real classic leather rifle case IMHO.

Bailey, did you ever get that assistant you wanted?
You must have had every young man for 150 miles trying to get that job. Wink
I guess it a good thing I'm as far away from you as I am, or I'd be over there everyday just to sweep out the shop...LOL
I've got a simular problem, I port and flow racing cylinder heads. There are lots of folks that want to watch. They get in the way some times but I humor them...LOL

One of the shops where I worked on my Lotus had a sign that read:

$90 per hour labor
$110 per hour if you watch
$130 per hour if you help

Maybe you and Bailey need to adopt something similar ... Wink

This is the note Bail sent me last week about his new guy.

"Aaron is doing great. He's got a solid work ethic and has obvious talent. I am very pleased to have him and expect him to become my shop foreman in the future".

And Biebs I can't hear so I dont call I use the email so does that count???
