Can you hold off a year or 2 on the article give Bailey a chance to finish all my rifles and shotguns.
Might also keep the price in a range I can afford.

Hey Bailey,

I finally got up here to Wyoming. Like I said after holding the first lil double you made,"I gotta get me one of these". It is time to do this. I think I do want to upgrade the wood though. The Queen does pay better than Watercut did.

When you come up to Wyoming this year stop in Rawlins and we will take the bus on up if you want. Might even scrounge up a landowner tag.
It hasn't taken long for me to make friends up here. Owning a world class grouse dog doesn't hurt in the friend making department.

Last thing, I found the Hass we talked about.

later,
Cary

Hmmm....Haas you say Smiler Do let me know the details

Glad to hear you made it up there. It's a cool area, and your dog should be busy, lots of grouse out on the sage. I'll be sure to give you the dates of our hunt when they become concrete.

Give me a call when you get a chance.

This discussion is a ringing endorsement. Probably not the best way to get in to double gunning with the long build time though.

Well, As far as time goes I have more of it than money. I might change my mind in 20 years...but I could and will wait Lilguy.

Persoanlly, I am impressed with the quality of the work I have seen in these threads for Bailey. I have also been impressed with his e-mails...sorry Biebs! I probably only delayed your build by 3 weeks!

I think a year is pretty reasonable for new orders. I think Bailey's efforts are truly commendable. He has been able to get orders, make beautiful product, and capture people's attention with his design prowess.

Lilguy, I am not so sure this isn't the best way to get into double guns. At first glance the price seems high but the quality of a gun made here by acraftsman no Artist of this caliber the value for outweights the initial costs. This will be a heirloom your grandkids will cherish.

Then look at the options of chamberings 7x57, 7x64 (my fav..ballistic twin to the .280) 9x74, .375 flanged.. the list goes on forever and the party never ends. Hey I'm not saying buy one now (it might slow down my project) Wink.. But we all know what is going to happen when the reviews come out..supply and demand will bring increases in price. If anyone deserves this it's Bailey. Besides wouldn't it be cool to have one 30 years from now with only 2 digits in the serial #. I wonder what the Rock Island Auction flyer would read like for that one.

I never called Larry a Nightmare....He is a considerate, kind, thoughtfull human being who can be a little skewed in his affection for the equivelent of curb feelers and fuzzy dice in rifle embelsihment. Cool

Larry, here is the over riding fact. Life is more interesting with you in it, and for that, we all love you...or at least like you well enough.....awe hell, I give up Big Grin

The vision I have in mind now is Larry all Duded up like the Pimp from "Gonna get you Sucka", witht eh aquarium shoes, wide brim hat with feather and butterfly collar. His new double slung over his shoulder with curb feelers off the corners and a pair of purple fuzzy dice hanging from teh trigger guard.

Now Larry, I have to tell you I do need to charge more for the impending therapy I will need to erase this image......Well you can tell by the way he uses his walk he's a huntin man, no time to talk....

I don't want a beverage holder. Maybe a cut out for a Copenhagen chew holder. A ruby bead at the rear of the fiber optic front sight. An integral iPod dock with speakers and headphone jack, a butstock flask and cigar holder, a Bailey Bradshaw made matching bayonet with gut hook.

Dang it Don!

Now we will have the rest of the world beating a path to Diana Texas.

Just kidding all bsflag aside it has been a great pleasure just watching this little project become what in a short time will be one of the most sought after doubles availible today.

Oh as for the article itself it was very nicly done and showcased Bailey and the rifle well, too bad he is so camera shy.

Those of us that are lucky enough to have been able to see his work up close, are able to truly understand your statment about how Mr. Bradshaw is a stickler for perfection. I nominate that line for understatement of the year!

100% on the article Don....full marks!
