Bailey,

When does one have to make a final caliber decision
as compared to sending in the original money to be on
the build list?

Jack,

You can sit on the fence until your rifle is about 2 months from needing the barrels. Right now that would be a year or so.

At the risk of challenging traditional concepts of DRs, I'm curious to know from those who have handled the Bradshaw DR and are familiar with the mechanism - is the extractor designed to handle rimless or belted cases well?

Specifically, what is the opinion of those knowledgeable on this topic about how reliably the Bradshaw DR design would extract such high pressure cartridges as the 458 Lott?

6.5,

The extractor I am using is for rimmed cases only. It has plenty of leverage. I used the Gibbs two piece extractor.

Boom,

I may be partial, but having witnessed numerous bolt rifles hang up at the range, I'm a DR guy.

I was thinking that the double falling block might get you 4 aimed shots off faster than a regular double.

With the twin troughs on teh top tang, reloading is fast. Slap the new rounds ontot hte tang and push them into the chambers. It is very fast.

Here is the latest off the bench. .22 Hornet is the caliber. First is the lockplate

Speechless and lost for words! The recessed peep sight is so classy - a BIG improvement on the last .22 DR. Who is the lucky guy who is going to own this rifle?
