It lives only in memory. I was heading on my first safari way back in 1977. I was 27 and heading to a country where they were rioting and some folks back home never expected to be seeing me again.

I was in the airport in London and I saw this incredible looking lady .. Beautiful, my goodness! She was wearing a full length silk dress (?) with a turban (sorry, it is early in the morning here and I did not look up the correct names for the clothing beforehand) and around her neck were two tiger claws set in gold.

After all of the years and so many trips to our beloved Africa - I still remember her.

BaxterB.... I really like the zebra photo. It just snaps sharp. The color and contrast are spot on and the bokeh is right. It’s a very nice shot. I wouldn’t mind having that on my wall! Well done.
