Please see below hunting specials that I have available in Zimbabwe as well as all attached pictures. I hope that this covers all information and any questions.

This is a once off offer. We have rebuilt Sengwe 1 camp in South East Zimbabwe, we have the hunting rights to Sengwe 1. I am a director in the Zimbabwean company, Pelandaba Safaris, the hunting area is roughly 300 000ha and is managed as a campfire / communal area. Camp overlooks the Limpopo river on the Northern Border of South Africa and Zimbabwe and runs along the Kruger National Park boundary from the Bubi River to just before Crooks corner where South Africa, Zimbabwe and Mozambique meet. Camp is comprised of a luxury safari tent for the clients accommodations as well as various out buildings including outside ablution facilities, kitchen, lounge and dining area. All food and service that is provided is of top quality and is prepared in camp by our five start chef.

The area is known for its outstanding Elephant, Buffalo, Kudu, Nyala as well as huge leopard and lion that are available from end of August. The area offers hunters the rare opportunity at a shot at some of the truly big trophies in the above from 90 plus pounder elephant that have been hunted there and are often seen in the area to buffalo of 46” that have been taken to 63” Kudu that have also been hunted there. The camp itself have been built on old Elephant migration routes and it is not unfamiliar for elephant to walk right through camp!

The hunting is conducted by our two local Professional Hunters, Albert Paradzai and Ishmael Shabalala who between the two of them have over 30 years of hunting experience, both are fully licensed and qualified with the relevant Zimbabwean Authorities. An additional PH is available at an extra cost, please contact me should you wish to further enquire about his services.

All pricing excludes:
• Local and international airfare
• Charter flights $ 6000 USD return from Johannesburg
• Transportation to camp from Johannesburg(price on request)
• 2% Govt levy on the total cost of the hunt. day rates and trophy fees
• $100 USD for cites tags
• Dip and Pack of trophies: 2 species or less = $600 USD
• Additional liquor or special liquor
• Tips for Professional Hunters and camp staff
• Medical evacuation insurance, or similar insurances

Pricing Includes the following:
• One trophy fee of said animal
• Field preparation of trophies
• All meals, accommodation and soft drinks during the hunt
• Daily laundry during the hunt
• Use of 4 x 4 vehicle
• Use of camp facilities
• Use of trackers, skinners, chef, and the use of the services of a Professional Hunter

The following hunts are available and are only available till the end of this year, 2009:
•10 day Leopard hunt, 5 baits included as pre baiting = $ 13 000 USD normal cost = $ 18 000 USD
•7 day Trophy Buffalo Bull hunt = $ 7 300 USD normal cost = $ 13 500 USD
• 13 day Trophy Bull Elephant any size = $ 25 000 USD normal cost =$ 42 000 USD

458aubs I'm here in RSA and the buff offer looks good if it can be a drive-in. Can it be a bowhunt? If so is there suitable terrain ie: riverine bush to catch them coming to water? Send me a PM. Thanks, JCHB.

Sorry. Nothing to add here. I was just tired of seeing the "Texas Meat Hunt" at the top of the page.

Yes unfortunately with the Dollar sitting at where it is, if it strengthens back over R8 - 1$ then the price will be adjusted.

The other option is to drive up to camp, for $1000 USD, return.

The "Texas Meat Hunt"

http://forums.accuratereloadin...2100588/m/3891034711

was at the top of the discounted hunts list for about two days. I added a post to your listing to move something else to the top of the page. I have nothing bad to say about your or Wendell's offering, I just needed a change of scenery.

It's all about college football rivalry Aubs. Just some friendly kidding amongst the natives Big Grin SEC is the South Eastern Conference (south eastern US). Alabama has two big rivals: Auburn (Tigers/War Eagle) Alabama's mascot is the Elephant but they refer to them as the "tide" thus "roll tide." I'm from Tennessee where we have the University of Tennessee (Vols/volunteer's) and unfortunately, we're a young team with a new coach, but we can hope for the future Smiler

I am intrested in your hunting block but I have a huge question to ask? I have hunted near that area a number of times with an outfitter and good friend there in Zim who had tried to get a buf/lion hunt there with no luck. But by asking around he had spoken to another outfiiter that used to hunt there and stopped after the 2000 floods due to the left over land mines in the area Eeker saying that they had been washed everywhere! Whats been done about this and how will that efffect the hunting?

Landmines make for slow tracking.

G'day Zhaba

Sorry about only replying now, i have been up in camp trying to shoot a lion that has been hitting the cattle pretty hard(those dam things are like south african politicians when it comes to avoiding prosecution)

to answer your question, on Sengwe 1 there are no landmines. the only landmines that are in the region are on a bordering concession that runs up along Mozambique from Crooks Corner and there is a landmine field there that has not been cleared - hope that is sufficient for you. if you find any in my area i'll give you a monatary reward for each one found.

Ps - to hunt lion in the area, one can only do it this time of the year. from end Septmeber until the river floods.

Pitty you didnt get your buff and lion, i saw hobbos of buff and there are reports of an absolute bruser of an elephant that is in the area terrorising palm wine makers and the size of him sounds huge

If you have any more question please shoot away,

Regards

Aubrey

Sorry guys, there is an alternative option on getting into camp, road transfer from Johannesburg = $500 USD per person per trip.

Thanks
