I actually bought one of these already made-up last year. The baikal had some farm scene engraving, and adjustable rifle sights had been added. When the right barrel was sighted in at 35 yds, the left barrel was only 4 inches low and 6 inches to the left, with no obvious way of adjustment. So it's actually a single shot with an additional barrel that shoots in the same general direction.

Thee are many .45/70 loads that run much higher pressures than those "powerful" nitro-express loads. Most of those rounds were loaded to very moderate pressures due to using Cordite, and being loaded for use in the African heat.

south of the mason dixon line, Brother and Sister are names for your extended church family. Bubba is a freindly term, most of the time, but like most words, inflection can change meanings.

country don't mean stupid, and southern don't mean backwards...

interestingly enough, the old saying "a southerner is polite, right until the moment he kills you" is not entirely wrong .... but most persons take kindness for weakness, which leads to immediate escalations

Proudly a Bubba my whole life (named after my father, so that's what I went by.) The "Brother" and "Sister" church bit has it's origins in the Gospels, and early Christianity, so I don't know that the cult jibe is really called for.

Catholics call certain major and minor levels of orders as Brother and Sister as formal titles, as well as some of the lay orders.. I don't assume we are calling the SJ Priests "cult members" (jesuits for those that don't know SJ, and, imho, the "mensa" of priests)

Anyway, Bubba and Brother, like esquire, can be held as terms of respect, or used in a damning sense, depending upon intent. Of course, in the US, it has no regulated meaning, and ANYONE can use it, though I've only met one person that used it who wasn't a lawyer...

but he WAS a Brother in his local Church
