There will be a Course of fire, simulating (loosely) some Safari Action. Plan on 10 to 12 rounds for the course of fire.

When: March 9th, 10:00 until Whenever
What: Shoot, Meet and Great, and Lunch
Where: Juliff, Texas (Just a couple miles from 288 and highway 6, in Alvin/ Pearland.

We need to have a decent guess at how many people will be there, so we can plan for lunch. We will be providing lunch (tips appreciated) without charge to you, so we would like to get close.

To save time, the BBQ will already be cooked before we get to the range. We'll just be warming it up.

I realize you may want to be close to a hotel -- but the nicer downtown Houston hotels tend to run specials during the weekend (there's still Houston'a ~20% hotel tax, though...) My parents usually stay at the JW Marriott when they come down -- decent place.

I was just surfing the web a minute ago and found a "Charging Rhino" target that I can print in 36"x48" or 24"x36" it is no trouble if you want some for the shoot, just let me know what size and how many.
I printed one in 36x48, looks pretty cool! I think I'm gonna shoot a charging rhino this weekend. Wink

.366Torque,

don't whine, I know you can make it to the Montana Match in June. It's just a few minutes over to Plains from there and we can go watch Dan Lilja make barrels.

We need, for 2009; to set up a monthly circuit for big bore shoots. Let us gather and shoot all over the country.
