fritz454I'll be there with 600 in tow. Are you going to do a bbq set up for lunch? I've got lots of game, mostly Bison, I'd gladly donate to the cause.
15 February 2008, 04:42
RustyTo save time, the BBQ will already be cooked before we get to the range. We'll just be warming it up.

AglifterI realize you may want to be close to a hotel -- but the nicer downtown Houston hotels tend to run specials during the weekend (there's still Houston'a ~20% hotel tax, though...) My parents usually stay at the JW Marriott when they come down -- decent place.

Troy HibbittsI think my wife & I will try to make it . . . I've only got one rifle that "qualifies"
9,3x62 CZ 550
unless I can convince my wife she "needs" to go ahead and buy that 375 ruger she was drooling on last weekend.

Doug TurnbullI will be there with at least one 475 Turnbull and possibly 2, 10# and 7# rifles. I have lots of ammo loaded so every one that wants to shoot them can. Sounds like a lot of fun!

19 February 2008, 00:50
JTEXI was just surfing the web a minute ago and found a "Charging Rhino" target that I can print in 36"x48" or 24"x36" it is no trouble if you want some for the shoot, just let me know what size and how many.
I printed one in 36x48, looks pretty cool! I think I'm gonna shoot a charging rhino this weekend.

Idaho Sharpshooter.366Torque,
don't whine, I know you can make it to the Montana Match in June. It's just a few minutes over to Plains from there and we can go watch Dan Lilja make barrels.
We need, for 2009; to set up a monthly circuit for big bore shoots. Let us gather and shoot all over the country.

June, you say. That would be a beautiful time of year!
A plan seems to be a preconcieved failure lately, but I'm not saying no.
