Do I qualify for this most exclusive of clubs?

Well, I asked and you answered so I'll just wait patiently. Ed is hoping it will be done by the end of April coffee.

On a different note hijack I had a great dinner with Rob Garnick and his wife beer. Before we went out, he showed me a few of his non-firearm toys - just incredible - nearly everything a real man could want. Looking forward to seeing the products of the equipment he had delivered and was installing while I was there BOOM. In addition to the great stuff he has, he is pretty close to Nellis and while driving out to him I had the honor and pleasure of seeing some fighters in formation and do some touch and goes.

I can consistently hold minute-of-ground squirrel with my .458 Lott out to 200 yards.

I have also shot a custom .460 Weatherby to check sight regulation for a friend and a .500 NE double to check barrel regulation.

I don't own anything bigger than my 416 and 404 and never get to see any big stuff at our club. Although I did shoot three rounds out of a Johansen 505 Gibb which a guy had borrowed to write an article. I would love to shoot a big double, you guys are lucky.

I guess I can sneak into the club with my Ruger No. 1 in .458 Lott. I also had one a few years back that was a WinMag rechambered to .450 NE. The Greener in .577 3-inch was a BPE, so probably does not meet the minimums here ...

A factory 378 Wby without a muzzle brake super-qualifies anyone, IMHO.

Bill Cooley,

I think we are agreed that 4500ft/lbs ME and over .400 caliber is the criteria.

You are there!

Come to Montana for the Hoot-n-Shoot II in Helena, Montana in June and see AHR's 700 in action.

Hey Rich,

Loosening up the entry criteria after I get shot down (by another AR member) because I don't yet have my 600 OK and my .416 @ 7,000 lb-ft is a pipsqueak? Wink

I think this must be some sort of conspiracy against short, fat, balding, bearded, middle-aged Brooklyn-born Americans of Italian decent! Anyone else who meet those criteria have this problem???

Well, you WON'T be able to exclude me much longer, my evil friend, the 600 OK arrives on Tuesday ! Bwaahaaahaaaa BOOM
