My 12 yr old grandson with his first buck. Taken last Nov on the first day of the Ohio two day youth hunting season. A one kill shot with a 20 gauge slug. The buck was a 17 point (non typical) whitetail scoring in the high 130's. Not a record, but an outstanding accomplishment for the boy after several heart operations starting at age two, and being diagnosed as an insulin dependent diabetic last year. I think this young trooper will some day break his own record!

Congratulations to both of you on your good fortune. That's a very nice buck.

A nice buck and a great grandson. Where was the deer shot? I was borned and raised in Cambridge, Ohio and owned a farm (a hillside) just south of Sencaville Lake, until last year. Hunted rabbits every Fall but never saw a deer in Ohio until I was 18 years old,i.e. 1958.
