That's pretty cool. Are there animals involved?

Yup at dusk and dawn of course. People have claimed to see rhinos and buffalo on a regular basis.

There's a herd of 200-300 buffalo there right now. For a while, you couldn't even see the water hole anymore, they were covering it. It's 6:45 over there right now. It's just after dusk. This is really neat.

Just saw a hyena make a half-hearted attempt at a steinbuck. It was at night. I think it was a steinbuck. Hard to tell. I was rooting for the hyena.

I wrong. It' came back. It's a duiker

2pm eastern there was a herd of maybe 100+ buf

9am bull ele, waterbuck and impala, and wildebeaste...

Caught two fox-like animals just now (jackals?). It was night of course. One was drinking, they must have a microphone close to the water... the link that was posted earlier semed to produce less interruptions for buffering, but that could just be my connection.

I think the camera fell. It figures, my mother in law is here visiting & saw the three giraffe.

LOL! Its a shame I cant be there now....In africa, not with your mother in law.....

Just seen a bunch of Zebra on now.Anyone know the exact location of this camera?

I believe its Sabi Sand which is a private reserve adjoining the Kruger Park in RSA - about a 30 minute drive from my home......

11:40 pm CST 9 bull buffalo

9:40am Eastern, two hard bossed buff bulls (one laying in the water hole)and some impala...

Now there are 4 bulls. 2 are large. I am sure I am not the only one who moves the curser over the vitals.

Cape buff at water hole now. I really like the bug walking on the camera lens.

When I opened it a guy was shooting a buffalo.

It was really hot today. 100 + degrees.

That is why they are spending time in and around the water.

Some little weasel-like mammal drinking now. It walks kind of hump backed but real low to the ground. To dark to make out good details.

Big buff bulls there again. Must be really hot. This place is like a swimming pool.

Makes me home sick.

It takes patience and perseverance,but you will see animals. As a Special Ed. Teacher, I use it as a reward for good behavior and task completion. As it stands now, my kids and have seen 28 different species of animals and all of the "Big 5". There are certain times of the day that are more productive, but this is Africa and who knows what will happen. My sugestion is to be patient and imagine you are a predator at that waterhole.
