Here is the latest report from AR Naval Intelligence.

Report 20051213, Source "daggabugger".

Since the First Sea Lord of the Zim navy learned that it was a customary in most countries to have models built of their men of war, he gave an order that the Second Directorate in the Zimbabwe Admiralty, responsible for publicity, should have at least one such model made for his office in Mugabe Building.

When he later was informed that "man of war" referred to ships, he issued a secret PM, informing the Admiralty Chiefs of Staff that such models should be ordered as soon as possible, and should also be used naval manoeuvres until any real ships was to be had.

Kings,Presidents, Ministers, Admirals, Generals etc etc of the Combined Russian/Rhodesian Liberation Army (RRLA)
We must have some kind of uniform!

As it is my strongest belief that we have to stick to something that hides us easily among civilians both in Russia and Rhodesia -sorry Zimbabwe, I would like to suggest this uniform:

Ms Lampenius will not wear this uniform, in fact no clothes at all Eeker

Great,
The three Gay Caballeros,
That'll put the fear of God into those godless commies and heathens!

PS We will still need ALF's towed mount to support Ms. Lampenius' big guns, and a spandex supply locker for her formal uniforms.

Say, can I join your band? I have one of these:

My cousins want to join up also:

I even have an army hat suitable for an African campaign. It is standard Canadian issue, Boer war era.

Please, please, please!

Not only can you join the band, you can be the entire horn section!

Don't let cewe see that hat, he has wanted one since watching Davy Crockett movies as a little kid.

lawndart: I heard that! I want a hat like that and as you say: Davy Crockett was one of my heroes! I remember an episode where he built a cannon out of a hollow log -brilliant engineering and the pioneer spirit.

But I don´t want a hat with eyes as that will make me more paranoid...I mean paranoid Roll Eyes

Husky: With that uniform we´ll make it anywhere! Does it come in camo issue? Is this the dress uniform?

Welcome on board Wooly ESS!

We are one step closer to having another redundant caliber to play with:

I wil call Redding on Monday to see about having some dies made. I'll order the die reamers from Dave Kiff.

Hi Martin,

I have a Remington 700 in 25-06. I really don't have a desire to use that caliber, so it will be converted. It will get a Sako extractor at least.

Hi cewe,

The best quote on ammo is from Barnaul!

The 9.3x66 is no doubt a great cartridge but does it offer anything over the 9.3x64 which already fits into a STD action etc etc? Who else chambers the 66mm except SAKO? It seems both will be a bit tough to find components for?

Neither has SAKO 9,3x66 made any success,
neither has Zimbabwe been liberated, or it has already been liberated, but needs to be liberated again!

So, what first?

Australia
I love a sunburnt country,
A land of sweeping plains,
Of ragged mountain ranges,
Of drought and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons,
I love her jewel-sea,
Her beauty and her terror
The wide brown land for me!
