And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too. May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep. May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip. -Seth Peterson | |||

Looks like an exciting hunt, it seemed like every little bush-limb got in the bullet's path. Steve "He wins the most, who honour saves. Success is not the test." Ryan "Those who vote decide nothing. Hi Guys: Good day from Alaska. I mentioned on the double rifles post the reason I shot so poorly. All of my practice before the hunt (4-8 shots per day for a month) were taken with slow and deliberate aim. When I shot quick, I left too much bead in the rear sight and my shots went high. I messed up, yes, but it was still fun AND with a really cool rifle. See you Alaskans (and others) on the 10th for our shoot.
