have been a long time AR member. I visit often but mostly stay in the background and enjoy reading about my passion for hunting, Africa specifically. I do comment on certain things when I feel I have someting to add to the thread, typically it is humor rather than useful facts but thats how I enjoy this site.

As we all know you are a recent poster to this site. I always enjoy seening new guys on here and seeing new angles on all the subjects here. I have read most of the threads you have started and a lot of the comments you have left on other peoples threads, it would be tough to miss as you comment of a substantial portion of the threads, and there is noting wrong with that. One of the many things I have noticed is that your posts are all over the place, with that I am courious as to your reason for joining this site. Some of the thread you start are soo random that is appears you are gathering information for a book of some sort on Africana......ie, has anyone eaten long pig................. what are the Venomous spiders of Africa...........Witch doctors in Africa..........?????? Very random and I suppose legitimate questions for this site but some of which would be better of using a google search that taking up space on the "African hunting" page.

The more or you comments and threads I read I beging to think most of your writing is beginning to border on written dirreah. You snipe at people for the least provocation, you snipe at long time members on here that have undoubtedly "been there done that" to quote you......far more than (I assume by your oppinions and questions) you seem to have. You bashed a respected booking agent on here, more or less, questioning his ethics because he promotes his business on here yet you ask said booking agents to give you feedback on your ever reavealing neophyte thread about "when and where" is the best time and place to kill every game animal on the contitent. You state what I am sure in your mind are facts about subjects that you are completely wrong about......here is a tidbit from the "stopping power on ellies" thread......something to the effect of "pennetration has noting to do with surface area it is only the sectional density that matters..........Really?? Do you not think that the SQ of a bullets Diameter does not have a realationship to the frontal surface area????

One of the most brilliant posts was your comment that you do not understand old doubles??? You were surely, tongue in cheek there right?? It is quite obvious that you do not even begin to grasp the romance and allure of a double rifle if you, as you stated yourself, "do not understand old doubles" Old doubles the DNA of double rifles. I agree that there are SOME doubles made today that are very tough and well made but to say they are better and tougher than a pre war rising bite Rigby or other best made double....you would be just as well to tatoo "Douche Bag" on your forehead.....people would pay more attention to your words.

I guess the point of this post is to ask you what is your motive here on AR, are you here to legitimately interact with the guys and learn and possibly add to others knowledge or is there an agenda? Jason, I sent him a private message last week,, hoping to help,, no luck, no response, in other words, tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. He has revealed no real information on himself and continues to lurk and snipe from the dark. He has made it easy to see himself for what he is and he will go to my ignore list. Chobe brings up some interesting points that make us think and the mood on the forum lifts and becomes far more lively as a result of his posts.

It seems like most of the guys here don't want any sort of debate that does not fit in with their well entrenched ideas of what hunting is all about.

Congratulations on your years of membership, it would definately take that long to to weed out some of the drivel that gets posted here.

The guys I listen to are the likes of Ganyana, Carter, Charleton, Boddington, (who, due to their occupation, unfortunately don't post enough) and assorted other folk who know what they are talking about. I guess that leaves you out of the picture, pity.
