I don't know how difficult it would be to introduce, but several of the other shooting web sites I haunt have a provision allowing contributors to preview their messages before posting them.

I think this is a very useful tool, since it gives the contributor a chance to see exactly how his contribution will look on the screen before he posts it. For some reason, this makes it easier to detect and correct errors before the comment is posted.

All you have to do is read your post in the box hitting post.

Our software doesn't have the preview function, sorry.

There is a great program we can get that does that.

Please paypal $12,000 to Saeed and I'll be happy to order it.

Thanks,

Don

Or you can just go back and edit it if you post and then find a mistake.

Yes, this is the easiest thing to do and what I usually do.

But, if you want, you can copy all the text from the message box and paste in the BBCode.org "BBCode playground": https://www.bbcode.org/playground.php

When you hit Submit Query, it will show you how it will look when it's posted. I haven't tried every feature, but it seems to work OK for photos, bold text, and URLs.

I marked where you paste in the text (in red) and where it displays the outcome in green.

I guess I should have said "I don't know how difficult and/or expensive it would be to introduce…."

My humble apologies for raising such a sensitive subject. I'll know better next time, if there should be a next time.

I just happened to think that judging from the spelling and grammar mistakes made by members, some of whom are even older than I am, that some of us at least might benefit from such an arrangement.

a. Don't be sorry.
b. It's not sensitive.
c. Learn to see humor when it's offered.
