i have some personal knowledge of bailey's recent absences on this forum and his dedication to his wife and family. he is truly one of the good guys in his personal life and as a gun makers he's very anal about quality and customers being happy with the finished product so the rifles are well worth the wait.

tanzanite, tsavorite, and sapphires abound around my house right now. i just got three color matched trillion cut yellow sapphires there small 1ct and two 1/2 ct. but one would make a great front sight bead. or i could use the red star sapphire i got last week. the 4.26ct tsavorite is to large so i guess i'll sell it bidding starts at 15k for it it's collector quality AAA grade

Dave, with those long loading troughs on the action, they just slide right in on their own....very easy to load.

Jon, don't help Mac. A falling block double, it's just not traditional. Maybe as dangerous as, dare I say it, (gulp) a Blaser S2. . Damn good thing it doesn't have a beavertail forearm.

I don't think Mac would say that at all. He'd just want a flanged case round for any double rifle hunting dangerous game. I would!

with a little practice you can load a falling block a hell of a lot faster than another double. i'm not fast with one yet but bailey can be scare fast when he wants to be. i'll work on my reloading speed when mine is in hand praying for it to be ready in time for dsc

Dave, I'm here reading your jabs! Actually a Bradshaw falling block or a Ruger No 1 falling block is quicker the reload than a traditional break-top double rifle, because of the troughs leading to the chambers causes the rounds to simply slide into the chamber or chambers. One thing you need to realize is those rifles, at least, re-cock when the chambers are opened FOR ANY REASON!

I happen to own several big bore Ruger No1s, and I find them to be rather fast to reload!

Bailey Bradshaw makes a fine double rifle, regardless of action type. IMO Bradshaw is a genius who designs all his rifles from scratch. He is a very nice man that I’ve had the privilege of having had some long conversations with, and have handled the rifle pictured in this thread even before it’s owner did. Blaser could take some sugestions from Bradshaw that would improve thier products. BYE!

I have sent the gun back to bailey to install the scope mount
I have been having eye issues and need the scope.
Also I have been hunting since the second week of August and have not been home very much.
I have a few more hunts to complete then I will take a trip to the range. I have the rifle back and the trijicon scope looks great.
Bailey said he loves the scope and has groupings that would put some Bolt rifles to shame.
Take a look at the pictures of the gun on previous posts.
Some day Bailey will have the drop lock 28 gauge shotgun started he has the wood already.
I will post some pictures of the targets when I go shoot.
