Post some of your own trail-cam pix here, too

I think all six are probably bucks, could be one lost doe.

A picture I took in Botswana at the lodge I was staying in in the Kalahari. This water tank was about a foot deep and the camera was straped to the entrance door column of my cabin.

Same hunt - we used a trail cam to pattern and sex this leopard who was moving to keep in the shade of the big Termanilia tree in the background where our bait was hung up high.

Allen,
can't see the nuts on the leopard on my screen, but it must be a male judging by the size of the neck. Did you get him?

Steve I did get him the next day. We set up a blind after reviewing the camera card in the field and noting what time he was there. He came back at the same time of day.

My office computer shows the leopard clearly but the one at home does not - its too dark but I can barely make out his head and body at the base of the tree with his tail sticking out at the right side of the tree. If I scroll down until the base of the tree is at the bottom of the screen it is slightly clearer.

The coffee can was filled with a mixture of alfalfa pellets, powdered limestone (calcium carbonate) and molasses and put out today. The can is nailed to 6"X6" about a foot long, which will keep the deer and raccoons from moving it very far, but won't be any obstacle for a bear.

Absolutely nothing has licked the molasses, but now there is some sweet feed on top, and perhaps that will entice something.

Me and Eddie, warmer weather:

Here's some of the bucks that are growing:

Here's some deer killers I should have shot when I once had the opportunity:

The date on the bushnell camera is a day ahead of itself, but I may leave it that way.

It's deer season now.
The small bucks show up regularly on the cameras.
The only mature buck is an 8 point. In the past three weeks, he has shown up 3 different times, for one pict each, between midnite and 4 am. Frowner

Here's the only decent buck that shows up (always in the wee hours)

Doing great Ted, cooler weather has started up the topwater action on the local rivers, most of the pleasure boaters have left the lake so I can set out the trot line, bow season is open for turkey and going red stag hunting in Scotland next week. Life is good.
