I knew this was the real deal when I saw one of the trackers was carrying an axe during the follow up.

The difference between following a wounded Lion and wounded Leopard is that the Lion voices his concern with a warning growl when you are too close for comfort giving you the opportunity to locate him; the Leopard silently waits and strikes at close quarters.

Great video with the exception of Justin missing the actual kill shot. If I were in your boots and heard the growls at 30:31 and 31:00 of the video, I might have rethought the nighttime tracking job on a wounded lion. The old adage “When in doubt back out” comes to mind.
