In response to the question posted: What's in your "Bugout bag"? I think it really depends on why you're bugging out... so here's the question:

Question:
What's the most likely reason for YOU to "Bug out"?

Choices:
Natrual Disaster
Manmade disaster (not terrorism)
Terrorist act
Collapse of the economy
Collapse of the Government
Collapse of society
Totalitarian Goverment
Invasion or declared war by foreign government
Wanted by the authorities (!)
Need to get away for a while
Wife can't cook
I like it here, I'm not leaving

I went for natural disaster, since hurricane is the most likely scenario. That being said, I've yet to actually bug out.

I'm curious. Just how old is this Ladd? He seems to not have lived a lot of life. Hard lessons may be ahead. If you're gonna be dumb, ya gotta be tough.

In the tornado prone areas, a bug-out bag should be grabbed as you head for the storm shelter--or stored in the shelter.

Daniel,
He sure sounds a lot like dear old "45/70Govt" and his alter-ego AmandaJean, repackaged, but I don't believe you would remember him.
