Just returned to US from wonderful hunt with Paul Truccolo in Numbulwarr and fishing with Trevor Hosie in Nhulunbuy. Have a full report in "Rest of World" forum.
Paul's website:
http://www.southernsafaris.com...aris/en_safaris.html
Can also be found at L. David Keith's website. David is his agent.

And here is Trevor Hosies' website:
http://www.nomadcharters.com.au/wilderness.htm

The shots on the bulls were all a bit long, 200 yds on first and 175 yds on second, because the bulls chosen were at the back of their herd/batchelor group, and they had us spotted.

A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

Excellent!!!!! Oh man, seeing your photos gives me the itch to get back and do some shooting with Paul! Seems he is having a tough year this year with the flood and all! We had an absolute blast last year with Paul. Fantastic shooting, and I think you must have seen more than you shot? I see several still standing???

Next year Paul will have a choice of carry rifles, a new Win M70 458 Lott and a Win M70 500 MDM. I can't wait to get back down under!

Congrats on what looks like a fantastic trip.

Michael

Mike and Matt, Thanks.
Yeah, I like those sweepers, although the Lunar-type frequently score better.

Here's camp at Paul's place:
My tent next to cooking/dining shelter. Buffalo came through camp almost every night!

Yeah they score better .... but who cares?? Smiler

We get the midnight buffalo as well. Amazing how they can creep around the tents, stepping carefully over ropes and such and the only noise you will hear is them chomping grass and the occasional belch - pretty freaky!! Funny critters thats for sure.
