Super Wood, 50% stronger tensile strength than steel at half the cost and 80% lighter. I’d love a 1911 frame made of this.

A stock out of this for my 500 Jeffery sounds wonderful. I'm guessing it won't warp with moisture like normal walnut?

Some questions that I have:

How will it take stain?
What tooling does it need to cut and shape it?
Will it take checkering?
Cost?

I don’t think you could stain it unless it’s purely on the surface. It would be cool to see how walnut could turn out. Someone call the company.

That's my first question. It sounds very interesting. Thanks, boom stick.

It's new but seems to have a lot of potential.
