I met Ken many years ago in Montana and spent a few hours enjoying his discussions of guns, cartridges and elk hunting. The Shooting World is greatly diminished by his passing.

So sorry to hear that. He was a class act. He was nice enough to give me some time to discuss my wildcats years ago.

As usual just my $.02

Sorry to see him go. He was one of my must read authors when a new issue arrived.

We are diminished...

I had the pleasure of hosting Ken about fifteen years ago one late spring for two days of Rockchuck shooting. I think he had a Suburban full of rifles, and wanted to shoot a couple 'chucks with each one. He was quite the raconteur in those days. In the evenings he held court on the patio of two restaurants in the Little Wood Reservoir. I had a set of Geovids, and I do not believe he missed a shot under 600 yards.

His generation had an insatiable curiosity about all things shooting.

God Speed, to a place where there is no mirage or cross wind blowing bullets off target.

I have his cartridge book.

At the 99 Shot Show I met him, Bruce Bertram, the Clarks Sr and Jr,

Jerry and Kay Mikulec, Johnny Rowland. Their booths were near each

other. He was great old guy and was always helpful to me. Ed
