Yes, it is a shame how some shops operate like they're in the Third World or something. On a happy note, the refund money just went toward an M70 in 7Mag - gotta .458Win in my future!! |

| I called the other day they said $1000.00+ for an action and my this years Brownells Cat. says $500.00. WTF? The tech guy at Brownells laughed at me and said they dropped them due to slow delivery. |

| $1K+ sounds about right for the CM. Sorry to hear delivery is still an issue. I haven't had a problem getting parts for mine. It is a monster of a action and looks BIG beside my other rifles. I am rethinking barrel and stock size to tame the looks down and be more practical with less weight. Big is the word and if you are planning a small caliber buy a Win or Rem, this isn't the action for you.....Samm |

Well that's good news. Guess I'll be making stocks to fit the action. What would the largest possible caliber the actions would handle just curious? The only problem I have right now is finding someone to do the checkering on my builds. My eyesight just isn't what it used to be. |
