I called the other day they said $1000.00+ for an action and my this years Brownells Cat. says $500.00. WTF? The tech guy at Brownells laughed at me and said they dropped them due to slow delivery.

$1K+ sounds about right for the CM. Sorry to hear delivery is still an issue. I haven't had a problem getting parts for mine. It is a monster of a action and looks BIG beside my other rifles. I am rethinking barrel and stock size to tame the looks down and be more practical with less weight. Big is the word and if you are planning a small caliber buy a Win or Rem, this isn't the action for you.....Samm

Well that's good news. Guess I'll be making stocks to fit the action.
What would the largest possible caliber the actions would handle just curious?
The only problem I have right now is finding someone to do the checkering on my builds. My eyesight just isn't what it used to be.

I put my 700HE in one and 700 H 3.25 in a couple,
Single stack mag. My 585HE double stack.Ed

I make the cases from BMG brass .
The case takes high pressures,
any load you load up and hang onto the gun.Ed
