Supposely it takes 8 weeks for the barrel and then it will probably take another month for gunsmith to blue the barrel, install the sights on the barrel, and whatever extraction work. Ill just be praying that when I shoot it doesn't knock me on my ass and split the stock. But you know it will be worth it. rotflmo

That gives you lots of time to rattle off lots of rounds from the 460WBY barrel. One thing most will agree is that much of handling recoil is desensitization. Get used to shooting that WBY and the T-rex will probably be controllable. Then you can laugh at your buddies that can't hold onto it.

Cheers,
Canuck

Man that is a light gun to build it on. might want to consider adding lead or mercury tubes to the stock.

I never noticed any torque with a 460 Weatherby, but there is torque in spades with a T.rex.

You better load it light and squeeze the forend and the barrel together with a thumb over the top of the barrel with a death grip ... if it survives the truck tire test fire.

Hide behind a big tree when you yank the trigger string.

Don't give up Krieger makes .577 cal barrels. It's no loss anyway the quality of Krieger is much higher than Pacnor.

for the threaded shank of the ruger, like I said before.. there is more than one reason these are built on enfields.

call them back and ask them which actions they WILL build for?
