Milan, just out of interest what is your view on Israeli settlers beating and killing Palestinians in the West Bank to take their land? Legally owned property that settlers take a fancy to so they burn out or demolish the owners house, beat or kill the owner and the IDF stands by and does nothing. How about when Americans are killed by settlers? Recently a 20 year old from Florida was beaten to death whilst in the West Bank visiting relatives. He was beaten by settlers who then blocked the road to prevent an ambulance getting through for 3 hours. He died on the way to hospital. In the last couple of years 961 Palestinians have been murdered in the West Bank. Only 3% of the perpetrators have been convicted, 93% of investigations are closed without an indictment. With respect, you are a typical right wing American. Your opinion is based on only half the facts, the ones which reinforce your existing viewpoint. What is happening to the Palestinians isn't a secret, the information is out there, it's not hard to find, despite Israel's attempts to silence any form of reporting. Do yourself a favour, read up on it and come to an informed conclusion, whatever that may be (not saying it has to be the same as mine). I support Israel's right to exist, in peace and free from the constant threat of invasion by her neighbours. Based on the reporting I am seeing, there is no lack of supplies. And, if the concern is Hamas hijacking supplies, inaccurate and dangerous air drops aren't the way to go. At this point, I'm taking everything Israel says about the situation with a grain of salt. | |||

I was just trying to point out that there is a lot of information out there which demonstrates that neither side is "the good guy", both have done horrendous things, Israel included. When these reports come from the Health Ministry run by Hamas and you believe them, then good for you if you accept propaganda and doesn't it strike you as odd when they always show photos of emaciated children yet healthy-looking parents? Who do you suggest then for a view of what is really happening there? Oh yes Isreal has prevented the press for getting access to Gaza so sources are limited. Have you thought why they don't want the press there? What's the problem if all the negative stories are fabricated by Hamas  As to warning about strikes, does that include the aid workers who were murdered a short while ago and whom Isreal said were acting in a suspicious way driving with no lights ... until cell phone footage was recovered from one of the copses which showed the accusers allegations to be 100% correct and the IDF to have been fabricating their account of things? So why doesn't Hamas surrender or retreat? Why don't the Palestinians give up Hamas? Why don't they agree to a ceasefire? I think it was months ago when Trump set a deadline of a few days to return all hostages. I believe that deadline has long expired, Trump didn't enforce his deadline not has the Palestinians/ Hamas returned the hostages. Why? It's all the Jews fault and doing? I agree that international condemnation of Israel seems to be growing. I doubt the claim that Palestanian or Islamic hatred for Jews and Israel is growing because of this or any other recent events. The Islamic hatred for Jews and Israel goes back centuries and no peace deal will ever be agreed upon honestly and without hardly concealed malice. We did starve a lot of Germans and other Europeans in occupied areas… until the war was won. The Marshall plan came about after victory. We starved a lot of Japanese as well. Then we were relatively magnanimous after the surrender (note that the Soviets were not.) So the question is has Israel won the war? It certainly seems that no one is surrendering in Gaza at this point.

I think many are starting to understand that Israel needs to be viewed with a bit of skepticism. The actions in Gaza are repulsive to many. The Epstein scandal has resurfaced Mossad’s history of spying in the US. How many people were aware that Mossad and Netanyahu attempted to blackmail Clinton with Lewinsky phone sex calls? Now many are wondering whether Israel and Netanyahu are doing the same thing with Trump over Epstein. What’s clear is that when Israel says jump, Trump asks how high.
