I think you misjudge my "position".

I know several Rightists, family, who are "consistent" ideologically.

What's the difference in consistent and rigid, when we're talking about Rightists?

Rigid ideology is not a virtue. It's actually the root of the polarization and so much more, such as vulnerability to a demagogue and Trump's manipulation.

I certainly don't think of that as a "quality". I think of it as a curse on the nation.

Pointing out something that you said, and I take exception to, is not blame. That's your defensive interpretation. If there was leading on my part it was done by asking questions, such as what other science do you think PBS should omit to satisfy Rightist's ideology. And such question as why do you think it would make a difference with people already seriously anti-science.

If there's blame, it's because you refuse to address the core of the questions, and instead deflect by accusing me of picking a fight. What fight? I am and was, consistently, addressing the base problem Rightists have with PBS/NPR, and it's all ideological, not rational. This is the way it is with anything that challenges Rightist ideology. Try to address it directly, and get attacked, no breakthrough.
