My animals were delivered today. Took just over a year to get them. Taxidermy was done by Splitting Image Taxidery in Grahamstown SA. My original plan was to have them done here in the states. The owner of the shop came to our camp and brought samples of his work. He convinced me and the 12 others in our group to use his shop. A total of 72 animals were turned over to him.
My animals were: Blesbuck, Common and Black Springbok, Impala, Kudu, Gemsbok, Blue wilderbeast and Zebra..
Here are some pics..

The crate..

animals in the crate..

They must have used a box of screws!!

Kudu

Impala

Gemsbok

Blue Wilderbeast

Black Springbok

Thanks for looking....

Thanks for getting we all worked up (again/still). My shipment is due to be sent any day now.
I was looking for a picture of the crates to show my Wife the rough size and your post came up.

Hope I can restrain my self until mine get here.

Really nice trophies! Were they shipped ocean freight or air? May I ask what were the shipping costs?

Beautiful Trophy room!! Very well done. May I ask a few questions? What are the positions of your Gemsbuk and Kudu. Mine are still in the works and I'm having a problem deciding. How high are your ceilings? Thanks and again congratulations. smoker1

Very nice. It is good to see Mr. Long Beard right up there with the rest. For those that have never hunted turkey, they can be just if not more fustrating that trying to get a cat on bait.

Nice, you always get an idea or two from looking at somebody else's layout.
