Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

Mike,

There's nothing quite like a lion. That is the one you took with Fulton?

Thanks.

Mark, yes, that is the rogue lion I killed while hunting in Namibia, north of Etosha, with Vaughan Fulton.

Here are a couple more of my trophies, which I have hanging on the wall of my Boston office:

Thanks.

Here's another shot of my lion, also taken by my friend.

This old boy's mane is about sixteen different colors, and this photo shows it.

Very nice. Was that hunt reported by you? I don't remember the particulars.

Any more taxidermy in your office?

COOL WORKING SPACE! I could spend some time there....

Thanks for the kind comments. No more trophies in the office. Those two buff kind of fill it up.

And you are very funny, Jim! Three legs and a pistol! Razzer

All I will say - because I have told this story here a couple of times before - is that when we finally tracked that lion down and met his last charge - my .338 Win. Mag. felt like a .22 Short!

Fantastic lion. I will have to look up the story since I missed it too.

Lorenzo...yes, the tusk and the lion skulls are great. Man, those cats got big teeth! One does not realize the hurting they can put on you...until you see these pictures. The mane on the lion is spectacular and he is mounted quite well. Nice buff at the office too. If that does not give you incentive to stay and work late nothing will. MR, thanks for the pics.

The 2 Buff on the wall behind your desk would tend to set the mood for the client when they are in your office I suppose. Great photos and mounts.
