I finally moved into my new trophy room, still a few heating issues to be resolved, but it has worked well. We built at full walkout basement, 1750 ft, with my trophy room in the lower level and 25'x 20". LOTS of room at the start but surprising how it fills up. I will complete it with some other artifacts from sheds to hides to vintage leverguns and Shotties. Really ticked that I cannot get someone to install my woodburner for another 6 months.

The RTM being put on foundation

View from the front

View of the farm out the front deck. My personal rangeis here and I have shot 6 coyotes from the deck.

Ceiling is 10", which is real nice to display

Some of my mounts, which will eventually have more company.

I'll come help you pack out your deer every year, if you let me bring a gun too.

Nice deer!

Are you building the house or burying it? LOL
Around these parts it would take tnt to dig that much ground up. You have some really nice whitetails! Congrats on the trophy room and hope you get that heat thing fixed soon.

We are lucky in this area the water table sits at about 100' beneath ground level, so a bit of weeping tile is all we need. I went with a treated wood foundation to increase insulation and the warm feeling. Its pretty nice to see for about 5 miles in every direction and luckily all my neighbors are hidden by trees. Closest one is 1/2 mile. We were lucky to get an RTM as the wait to get a house built in Alberta is about 2 years.

As you can see, the new farmhouse is quite an upgrade from the old one built in 1919.

All that remained of the site is an old Outhouse left from the old bachelor farmer that I bought this place from 10 years ago. I think it will make a hell of a ground blind.

This is an Aerial of my home 160 acres, lots of wetlands, 1/2 seeded to alfalfa, great winter site as I have 12-15 deer in my regrowth every night. Buildings, corrals, garage is all on bottom side of 1/4

Nice place, definitely an upgrade over the old place. Is the elk the one you got last year?

We are moving south, bought a place in Devon, move in August.
