So after a month, I got back to the lease. The game camera results were interesting. The cows knocked one skyward so most of those photos were branches. Enjoy.

LWD,

Thanks for the pictures. Anyone around to close the gate on those hogs? They looked well fed and ready to be eaten.

if you split open a plastic funnel and hose clamp it upside down on the pipe legs of the feeders, the corn-thieves will have a harder time climbing them.... you can use a tin pie-plate also....

Vaseline works pretty good if it isn't too dusty.
Five foot sections of 4"pvc pipe on the legs also stops the coons. I've gone to "coon cages" and armored cable on the solar charger wires. Works pretty good. I've got a picture somewhere of three coons hanging from a coon cage. It appears they are trying to break it loose. Those guys can empty a 350 lb feeder in a couple of weeks if they are diligent

So you've got "pole dancing" coons too? I have one less as this morning I let the air out of one from my bow stand. Only about 99 to go.

I am so tempted to spend $100 for an electric fence apparatus to wire my feeder legs--it would be worth it to not buy another game camera just to give those rascals the business.

Ha ha very funny! Clearly, it was the bullet's fault! I'll be back out this weekend so I'll see what else the cameras got.

Whitworth,

I guess it shows my mindset. First time I read that quote I wondered, "What in the Hell does he have against Teddy Roosevelt?" Then it hit me you were talking about Teddy Jerkface. He is (was) such a non-entity he didn't enter my mind.

I went out again yesterday but didn't pull the cards from the cameras. I set one camera mostly looking at a bush so it had only a few photos, and the cows had knocked the other one skyward so it had only a few as well.
