Myself and my partners at Safari Classics Productions are proud to announce that AR's own Aaron Neilson will be teaming with us as the NEW HOST of our award winning "Trijicon's World Of Sports Afield" television series on Sportsman Channel starting in 2013. Aaron brings many positives to this series. His hunting experience is global, which is reflective of this series content goal. Aaron is articulate, knowledgable, and brings a energy that is constant with his passion for international hunting. Aaron was already an established personality on this series, as he has acted in the role of,guide, professional hunter, and primary hunter on several episodes. He has been busy filming episodes for the new season, and each promises to be an adventure worth tuning in to.
We are excited to have Aaron on board, and know his presence will make this popular series even better. Welcome aboard Aaron..We are proud to have you!

I give Aaron a ton of grief and mock him endlessly when we're hunting together but in all seriousness he is a fantastic choice. He's a hard worker and I'm sure will give y'all everything he has.

Dave, I don't suppose you know if you will be airing on Wild TV here in Canada? I really wish we could get "Tracks" up here! Any way to buy a boxed set of DVDs of past episodes?

Guys, thank you!

I greatly appreciate Dave, Tim and Ivan giving me this opportunity - I'm looking forward to it.

Hunting is what I love, and sharing it with others is something I love to do. I've still got alot to learn, and my respect for guys like Ivan grows by the day - when one learns all that goes into making a weekly show.

I sincerely hope all of you will tune in, and I look forward to doing my best to bring forth the continued high quality programming that all of you have come to know as a "Safari Classics" norm.

Sounds like an excellent choice. Sports Afield is absolutely the best read of the mags I get and the show is at the top as well. Robin and I bumped into Aaron at JNB in July and had a couple cold ones while waiting on the connection home. We could tell just from the hour or two that Aaron is good people. Looking forward to seeing the 2013 episodes. Aaron, don't get too busy. Robin and I are still looking for lion and leopard in the next few years after we've paid off the taxidermy bill for our June safari.

Folks, I believe the guys at Safari Classics produce the best shows on Outdoor Television, period!

My attraction and desire to work with this particular show, is the same as many of you here on AR. Rather than the same old - back yard deer/turkey hunts, the program travels the world in search of exciting adventure. Now don't get me wrong, all of us grew up on hunting deer with the family, and we plan to do some of that too. But, just as you see in the pages of Sports Afield - far off locations are high-lighted too.

We'll try to keep it interesting, exciting and adventurous - but most importantly, entertaining outdoor television. The fact is, a show of this type creates far more obstacles than the simpler, more cost effective, local/domestic hunting shows. But hopefully in turn it continues to appeal to those of us that enjoy seeing hunting, culture, and adventure from around the globe.

Dave, Tim and Ivan have graciously granted me the opportunity to join their team, and I plan to make them feel confident that their decision was a good one! I sincerely hope all of you will tune in, and together we can experience the grand adventure that is - The World of Sports Afield.

Don't be afraid to show a goose egg hunt - I just watched McRaney's lion hunt on Dangerous Game. Even though he didn't get a lion, I really liked the show.

Not just for Aaron, but for all us hunters as well with the involvement of the gentelmen named above.

It is about time to have more REAL hunting shows on TV. instead of the silly "Hollywood" style high-fiving and cheerleader squeels shown now on TV.

And if I may suggest something?

PLEASE. PLEASE, don't let the advertisers ruin your work by thinking that viewers are so stupid that they have to be bombarded by stickers on stocks and hiding the name of non-adverisers products shown on the video.

All this does is draw attension in a rather negative sense.

We wish you all the best.
