Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

David,

When you say 'one of the insipid poms' I presume you mean there are two that you know of?

It would seem that this ddrhook fellow has hijacked this thread and subsequently it has been side tracked. It is of little concern to you and none to me.

ledvm,

When you get back from your safari I very much hope you will replace your photo. Your picture here shows what looks like to be a Buffalo but smaller.

Go well

Andrew

We have a vegetable garden full of interesting plants, which we save for a rainy day.

Good luck on your trip and look foward to hearing all about it.
