Federal Express just delivered copies of the edited DVD of my latest hunt. I titled it: 2010- Return to the Save. It was filmed by Murray Osborne of Osprey and edited by his wife Caroline. This is the second project they have done for me. I have to tell you that they do an incredible job. Both of the DVD's are outstanding. In addition, Murray is a really nice guy and contributes to the success of the hunt.

I would highly recommend them if you are considering having your hunt filmed.

I'll second that. We have a ton of DVD's from them from past clients hunts and they filmed quite a few of our hunts. We recommend them 100%, both for the quality of the work they do and for the fact that they are some of the nicest guys I've ever met. The level of the camera work they do is the best I've seen, and they edit your DVD in a way that's educational about the host country and tells the story of your adventure to the viewer.

I will make this offer. If any one wants copy, PM me you address and as soon as I get these copied, I will mail you one, for free.

I have to note one thing I saw in the DVD. When I shot the elephant, the bullet can be seen flying through the air. It was very interesting.

Gentlemen:

I have so many pm's that I am not going to respond to them if they are nothing but a simple request. The DVD has been sent to be copied. They should be ready late next week. I will have my office mail them at that time.

In the mean time, I have another filmed by the same company, hunting with the same ph, filmed in 09. I named it,"My Last Lion.". I will go ahead and have my assistant mail those to you.

I hope you all like them.

By the way, I thought this might be of interest. Off the top of my head these are going to the following cohntries:

USA
Canada
Argentina
South Africa
Zimbabwe
Zambia
Tanzania
New Zealand
England
Pakistan

Seems that AR is rather widely followed does't it.

Larry - PM sent. I have seen both good quality videos and poorly made videos of hunts. There's definitely an art to it, and the good ones are a pleasure to watch over and over again. I'm looking forward to seeing your good one. Thanks for the generous offer!

What about adding here a short clip, a little taster, while we are waiting.

I will do the popcorn.

I am traveling on business. I hope to be back tomorrow. I can get an update at that time on when these are expected to be ready. Before I left , my assistant had mailed a number of copies of "My Last Lion."

I have to say that I am surprised at the places the requests have come from. Without consulting my list, I recall requests from:

US
Canada
Mexico
Columbia
Argentina
Brazil
New Zealand
Australia
South Africa
Namibia
Zimbabwe
Zambia
Botswana
Tanzania
Pakistan
India
England
Sweden
Norway
Spain

There are probably others. AR REALLY gets around.

Andrew:

If I have the time and if I can figure out how to do it, i will post a clip or two. What would you rather see? The 6 1/2 year old lion? The 46 1/2 inch buffalo? Perhaps the 60 inch kudu?

As good of a job as these guys did on the movie, they missed a thing or two that would have been great. For example, we were trying to whack a buff cow for bait. I got the Appy's attention and said,"Peter, if I get scared will you hold my hand?" He broke up over that one.
