I am glad that everyone seems to enjoy them. Thanks for the compliments.

We are now out of the DVD's. We ordered two different batches of 150. They are all gone. We have ordered more. I am traveling, yet again, on business. I have not been able to check on them . At the time we ran out, we had something less than 10 requests for which we had no DVD's left. As soon as the new batch comes in, we will send those out.

We had some requests for which we only sent one of the DVD's as we were out of the others. As soon as the next batch arrives , we will get those out as well.

At least one was lost that I know of. It was actually the first request I received. Sorry, David Keith. Carmen somehow ignored the original list I gave her. As a result , some of my long time AR buddies didn't have theirs sent until late in the process. Sorry guys .

Finally, the PM system isn't the easiest thing to deal with on something like this, especially considering the volume I received. I hope I didn't miss anyone . If i did, let know. I am so busy,it could have happened. I did not check on Carmen to make sure she didn't miss any. At any rate, i apologize of I did miss someone.

Larry, work gets in the way for the rest of us, too. I just got around to finally using a Japan holiday morning to watch both "Lion" and "Return." I was glad that I watched in that order.

I've only hunted in Africa once, and it was the Kafue Mulobezi area of Zambia in October, but the terrain and fauna were just like yours, pretty dry. While we saw lots of game, you seemed to have had much more in your areas. There was not any elephant hunting when I was there, but they did chase the trucks just like yours, and I was told one skinner had been plucked off and killed the year before I was there, so our PH was very cautious.

It really brought back memories to see your DVDs. Thanks.

Larry--I received the dvds yesterday, and watched both of them straight away. After seeing that, it is easy to see why the lion has the title "The King of Beasts". That buffalo on the first day of the second trip is the stuff dreams are made of. Many thanks for sharing.

…yesterday I get it.
I see it now three times and I must say:

First: Thank you Larry
Second: Fantastic film, good shooting, ethic hunting

I had many films (like CB or MS), Im a gun writer, so I can say this.

...and the best thing:
I get it for free to Germany.

Today in the evening we will see it with some friends.
...and some non-hunting friends, because the DVD is made in an very ethic way.

I apologize for the delay in sending the last batch out. I am putting in some serious hours and logging a lot of frequent flyer miles. I am going to try and have the rest sent out this week.

Once again, my apologies.

I would like to apologize for the delay in sending the last batch. I am working extremely long hours and traveling a lot.

I attempted to sort out all of the PM's in an attempt to identify the requests that have not been sent. I forwarded all of the address that I identified to my assistant. She will start mailing them this week.

There are an awful lot of PM's. It is entirely possible that I missed some. If I did, I apologize in advance. If you have not received your by mid June, please PM me again.

I know that some of the requests are over a month old. I am embarrassed that I have not gotten to them. My work load is insane right now. I have had some family issues (brother in law killed in a car wreck amongst other things). Family and business have to come first. Once again, I apologize for the delay. I appreciate your patience.

I remember. I have told the story of the Lion King hat many times.

In the video, there was a part where there was a big herd of eland crossing the road. That road was on the border between Senuko and ZH area. It was less than a half mile from where I met you.

We are trying to tweak the dates a little. If we can alter things a day or two, I am headed back for elephant/buff and maybe leopard. It will be in October when everything is nice and cool! LOL

Good luck in October. Enjoy the cool weather. I would like to return as well. Not in the cards for the near future. Economy has hit construction pretty hard here. I remain optimistic for the future however. Let us know how you do in October.

Recieved the videos today and watched them this evening. Was really "Impressed!" by the charging elephants. Very beautiful buffalo ( the one on the first day of your hunt!)and your lion is super.

I appreciated to be able to see how a hunt like yours really happens. Your guides seemed to be great chaps to hunt with.

Congratulation on that elephant! And thanks again for the videos.

Thanks gentlemen.

I will be making another in October when I hunt Sango in the Save. I am debating making another duck hunting DVD when we return to Argentina next month.

I was going to make one of caribou hunting in September . Unfortunately, there is no room for a cameraman in camp.

These DVD really help with the memories of the hunt. I agree with Norm. The cameraman and the editing are phenomenal. It is interesting to me that the editing is done by the cameraman's wife. She doesn't hunt. She does the entire thing off of notes that Murray makes nightly. Murray is a great guy to have in safari. He is a nice guy and is very knowledgeable about hunting.

Thanks.

It was not properly measured. When we did it, we came up with 59 and (I think) 3/4 inches. However, when we did it, the wire was slipping off the rim of the horn. This would have shortened the measurement. I am confident that if done properly, it was over 60. It did not matter to me what the actual was. It was definitely my biggest and even more importantly, it bested my oldest sons 58 1/2 that he took about 4 years ago. This is a running joke between me and my son.

While I am always interested in getting a general idea of what they measure, I am not a record book guy.
