Hello there

My friend professional hunter Thierry Labat has recently returned from his yearly excursion to the CAR, where he hunts for Andre Roux. Once again, Thierry and his clients enjoyed tremendous success. On one particular safari (with John Scur from New Zealand), the hunters accounted for an amazing 16 species, all of which were excellent trophies. Included in the final tally were a fine yellow back duiker and a red river hog, most elusive quarry indeed.
I am taking the liberty of posting a selection of Thierry's trophy pictures, for your interest. I know you will enjoy them.

David,

Fantastic array of beautiful trophies. Andre must have a very good area.

Absolutely amazing pictures!!! I love the Cameroon/CAR species. And some of these trophies are incredible.

David, do you know if these are from all concessions, I am wondering how they did in the two along the Chad boarder this season.

I predict that when Bwanamrm sees these he'll be booking that LDE/Bongo hunt! Big Grin

David,
Outstanding, all. The dewlaps on the Lord-Derbys are impressive, besides the horns. The Roan are wonderful. Thanks for posting.

I love the "mane" on that warthog, and the yellow-backed duiker is a great trophy.

Thierry informs me that these trophies were taken in central CAR, not on the Chad border. Apparently, Andre Roux has temporarily stopped operating his border concessions due to unrest in that area.

I suggest you get hold of PH Thierry Labat on tlabatsafaris@zol.co.zw
He'll be able to help with all the relevant details.

There is no website - that is Thierry's email address that I posted. Try googling Andre Roux Big Game Hunting, or something like that.

Excellent trophies! Thanks for posting David. Maybe I will see Thierry this year in Mozambique if he's hunting in Niassa. I hope you'll be writing us some hunting reports again this season?
Cheers,
David K.

Wow some great trophies! That sitatunga LOOKS ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE! And I love the old roan whose horns are smooth from years of use... not to mention LDE, bongo and yb duikers, nice, very nice!
