Well, originally it did have something to do with African hunting in a tongue-in-check way, until omeone took it unto themselves to be a complete jerk. Just not sure that they or their supporters have the brains to understand that.

Judge:
Do hope you get that leg healed up sooner than expected and can still make the hunting trip.
I missed where you kicked the guy, apparently it was a very effective spot though as it did the
J O B on him.

Enjoy reading your hunting stories very much, this one was a good read too. Wish you well.

It's too bad a good thread like this can get so messed up with just one a/h being a jerk.

besides at this rate they will lock the thread as this has absolutly nothing to do with african hunting

700 - There's one thing I learned a long time ago. The guy that talks the most, is normally the guy you have to worry about the least!

If you can make it to Denver on March 23rd, maybe you should come on down. Drummond and I will be at the fight with one of our guide's, who's back after injury. An injury that forced him early last year to forfeit his W.E.C. (World Extreme Cage Fighting) middle-weight WORLD TITLE!!!!! Hey, Drummond's buddy will be there too. I'm real certain that he'll happily take you up on your offer. If you can last 1 rd (5 minutes), I'll hand you the contract right there on the spot - anywhere you wanna go my friend. All Drum's buddy wants is to go deer hunting, so that's easy enough.

Now, I really don't think Drum was trying to get someone else to fight his battles for him - I'm real certain of that. I think he was trying to make the same point that I was. Which is, why would anyone get on here and challenge the "Judge" to a fight? That's just pathetic, and the man deserves alot more respect than that! I think his years and service to local/state law enforcement deserves better.

See ya next month????

You're an idiot

Hey 700 Nitro - I'll bet SureStrike will take you up on that offer!

If not, Drummond probably would, I know I would. But, if none of us are up to your standards, I'll bet we can get Drummond's best friend in the cage with ya? In fact, if you can last one round with him, I'll buy you a hunt to anywhere in the world, that you wish to go, guaranteed!!

Can't believe someone would call out the "Judge" like that? He deserves alot more respect than that!

He definitely does!!!

Here is the police report, somewhat modified for obvious reasons:

".... I informed Mr. M---- that he had just been charged with statutory rape and that he was going to jail. Mr M---- bolted from Deputy ---- and myself, running to my left in a circle. Deputy ---- and I were chasing M----- around the court room.

[Judge] Gilbert was in the direct path of M----- and when Mr. M---- approached him, [Judge] Gilbert kicked R----- M---- in the legs. M---- hit the floor and Deputy ----, Deputy -----, Deputy ----- and I grabbed R---- M---- trying to restrain him as he thrashed about. Mr. M---- was placed in hand cuffs and placed in the holding cell.

[Judge] Gilbert advised me that his right leg was hurt. I had [Judge] Gilbert sit down and exam(ined) his leg. ... The EMT squad was called and they transported ...."

...me to the hospital and broken leg and all, I am stuck sitting on my duff in my living room, trying to figure out how I can get to Colorado to see the fight.

As an aside, I don't smoke dope, but I've discovered that sitting on you butt and being unable to go out or cook can make you hungry as heck for stuff you can't easily get. Dang, I'd cage fight anybody for some grits, two eggs over easy, some red link sausage cut up in small pieces and fried crisp, homemade fluffy biscuits with real butter and a dapple of honey, Tabasco to sprinkle liberally over everything and some strong black coffee. Maybe next week I can stand long enough to cook. Alas.

Aaron, Drummond: Am I invited?

BTW, I've met 700Nitro. He was at a DRSS hunt, I believe. He was a bit boisterous, and had a strange occupation, but was generally polite and gentlemanly. If my memory serves me right (and I'm geriatric as others have pointed out), he shaved his head, was quite compact and fit.

Should be a good event.

JudgeG ... just counting time 'til I am again finding balm in Gilead chilled out somewhere in the Selous.

Do these "cage matches" require participants to take an urinalysis?

If so, maybe 700 should start studying now.

I just got through cooking and eating a similar but a slightly Texanized version of Judge's breakfast menu order.

So let me get this straight Mr. 700 is a depressed, overweight but "in shape" pot smoking professional(or at least gets paid) UFC fighter?

I've seen of lots of things in my days but a pot smoking pro fighter? I guess I've heard of stranger things!

Howz about you post some video of some of your latest fights?

Marijuana might be the only thing making any sense here.
Might explain both 700 nitwit and the accused child rapist.
They both rushed JudgeG.
They both got a leg sweep and landed flat on their asses.
Smoking dope.
I am convinced that heavy, frequent, chronic use alters the brain permanently.
Some get paranoid or combative with the first smoke.
Bad stuff.
Should not be legalized.

People are different, drugs affect one one way and another another way.
Enough drugs will rot any brain.
"Roids" will shrivel testicles and make for meeker behavior eventually.
Bipolar: When I was in one psychiatry training rotation, which I very soon tired of,
we had one bipolar who was a first year medical student.
He had started a business, on the side, selling Persian carpets on the street corner, when he wasn't attending class or studying medicine.
He was beset by a gang on the street.
He stripped naked at one point and was doing karate moves in the nude when he finally got locked up in the padded room at the psych ward.
I suspect marijuana there too. shame

It is always amazing to me how dopers will rationalize and defend their use of and the positive health qualities of their chosen drug. Now we hear from 700 who is "obviously" a scholar of the utmost discipline, informing us that THC not only relieves the symptoms of but cures cancer. WOW and I'm sure that medical researchers have suppressed this information due to a huge world government conspiracy? Right? And to top it off he's telling an MD that HE the doctor is the uneducated one. This alone proves Dr. RIP's statement on the long term brain function issues associated with heavy THC use.

700 is supposedly fighting unsanctioned matches (most of which are videoed BTW) which means that the fighters are not required to have a physical before the fight. And he is hanging out with the druggie crowd SO he's probably got or at a minimum been exposed to hepatitis, and that disease is the least of his worries. Which is why there isn't a pro or even an aspiring amateur fighter on the planet that would have anything to do with his sorry ass and it's why you won't find anyone in the business who would fight this guy unless he had a full screening done before the fight.

I personally wouldn't let somebody like him step foot into my gym knowing his background and that he is threatening anybody much less a 60+ year old judge via the internet. That crap just doesn't fly in this business.

If Mr. 700 is in fact training in a gym of any type except maybe a backyard gym run by like minded losers and they were to find out that he was threatening people on the net or otherwise they'd drop his butt faster than a bag of AIDS infected needles. You simply can't afford to have somebody like that on your roster.

EXACTLY!!!

And many are dose dependent on their actions as well.

Example:

Two commonly abused human pharmaceuticals are ketamine and diazepam (valium).

We also use those 2 in horses A LOT. I have witnessed the actions of known docile horses on those drugs 1000's of times.

Valium is a known mixed tranquilizer/sedative and ketamine is a dissociative anesthetic drug.

So...both of those drugs are used for calming, relaxing, and inducing sleep.

However in the right dose in the right horse...both are known to produce extreme excitement.

Other horse specific potent sedatives...what we call the alpha-two agonists...will make horses very sleepy to the point that they can barely stand. But in some horses...they can make then very aggressive as they are going to sleep or in light doses. This is thought to be due the fact that the gentleness of these horses was a learned response and that they were naturally agressive. When the drugs inhibit the inhibition in these horses...aggression prevails.

I can't call you a typical stupid fucking Canuck as I have too many good hard working honest drug-free Canadian friends.

Holy cow, this is funny!!!

700 - I would say judging by his post SureStrike knows a little more about "cage fighting" than you. Just an observation!

Ann - The "train wreck" insinuation, CLASSIC!

And then we have the post by Opus - WOW!! rotflmo

I was about to agree with you on this, kudu...then I realized that you were probably talking about STEroids, rather than...oh, never mind...

And ledvm, I appreciate your restraint...it would indeed be inappropriate for you to call 700 a "stupid, fucking Canuck" and thanks for not doing so. I, on the other hand...oh, never mind again....
