The opposition is getting hammered good and proper. Regardless, I doubt many minds will be changed.

If I am successful in getting certain organizations to E mail this, the site will bombarded by pro hunting responses .

Only wish you could talk sense to folks like Cyndi who have posted comments there. I can only hope she will take the time to listen to any eventual debate that comes from this.

My comment left last afternoon still hasn't shown. In fact the last comment appearing is dated April 30th! Or am missing something?

The site doesn't log "cookies", IP or MAC Addresses - what that means is one person can "vote" as many times as they want or have time for without ANY limits.

Was watching it for a bit today and it started out earlier today at 68% for and 32% against. Support has dropped to 56%. Watching the voting results, it's pretty obvious there are individuals "camping" on the site and logging in 100's of "votes" at a time against hunting.

Time to start fighting fire with fire.

Figured it out.

Just looked at the page again today. It's so disheartening to read the many well thought out comments by hunters and then see that it has no effect on these folks. To paraphrase "Hunters are killers and not conservationists". It's like a mantra for their righteousness and reason be damned.

Geez guys, if it isn't a fair poll, doesn't mean you have to cheat. I am sure they can check for multiple votes from the same ISP if they want to.

Play by the rules, Br keep on top of it and state that it's being manipulated.

We have a heck of a lot more reasoned comments than they do. That makes them look bad, no?

CR - rationally I would normally agree with you but in this case, this website has PURPOSELY left this open for some undisclosed reason.

IF they had intended to have a truly fair and honest poll, they would have built in either IP address logging/lock out (can still be by-passed/spoofed) or MAC Address logging/locking much more difficult to spoof/by-pass. Kind of like Democrats being against voter ID laws.

The overall problem is the "antis" don't play by the rules just like terrorists/ISIS don't play by the "rules". Besides, under Obama's "rules" if you remember his quote not long ago, "if they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun".

Admittedly, this is trying to "justify" multiple votes, but it can also just as easily be viewed as using the tools the site owners/developers/admin have more than likely purposely left "open" because all their voting/poll are set up the same. Nobody, our side or the other side, is "breaking through firewalls, stealing passwords etc.

Don't get me wrong, in a "normal" and "moral" world I would agree with you 100%. On the other hand, all you have to do is read the posts of the antis and realize we are not dealing with "normal", "rational" nor "thinking" individuals.

Lastly, never forget that IF they were, or become ahead/win by whatever method they assuredly WILL use it to "prove" their "superiority" and massive public support.

Agree and it is plain and simple anti hunting. They offer no land use plan or alternative for marginal lands.

Nor will they accept responsibility for the collapse of wild Africa.

When I read some of the responses I come to the conclusion that we will likely never "win" this battle of public opinion.
When people are attached to emotional decisions no amount of reason or facts will overcome the "I know I'm right" feeling. When they read anything at all that supports their emotion, then that has to be true and they don't bother to fact check it.

I hope we learn something from this. If you see as of the last few days they seem to have gave up on the votes and just a few keep trying to say stupid stuff.

This should just show looking the other way or being scared to fight fire with fire back on any social media stuff is not the way we should handle the anti's. Fight backing sure seemed to shut them down after just a few days

Yup. The other thing is the repeated refer to trophy hunting. We need to erase that phrase from our vocabulary .
