I've been to several places in Lusaka but nothing like what you have in mind. For a hoot go to the Holiday Inn and look around the steakhouse. They tried to do a cowboy theme. It kind of like a Japanese band playing country music. It's quite funny. The Pomadsi (sp) is an older hotel with more of the old Africa feel and might be worth a visit if you have time.

Somebody was asking about Luwire Safaris recently. This hotel is owned by the same people, which should dispel any doubts as to professionalism etc.

A hunting friend of mine drank at that place after he shot a Lion, Leopard, big Eland, Hippo, Sable and Nyassa Wilderbeast a short flight inland from there , all in about ten days.
Almost forgot, some gamefishing and more drinking also.
