I could spend some time in that bar. What a great place.

BFaucettClassic! That makes me want to get on an airplane! The resort looks like it would be a great place to spend a few days after a hunt.

No bar fights there. The barman keeps his elephant rifle handy. And his elephant above him to prove he means business!

I am not much of a drinker, but I could be persuaded to start in a place like that.

Women would confuse me while I was telling stories as they do not appreciate my exaggerations. Now, if the women were unkown to me, then I am sure they would be more interested in my facinating personality.

I've been to several places in Lusaka but nothing like what you have in mind. For a hoot go to the Holiday Inn and look around the steakhouse. They tried to do a cowboy theme. It kind of like a Japanese band playing country music. It's quite funny. The Pomadsi (sp) is an older hotel with more of the old Africa feel and might be worth a visit if you have time.

shootawayWhy isn't there anyone inside? Looks too unnatural or fake like.Too big for a bar.Thumbs down

shootawayThe best place to have a drink may be alone in front of your computer screen on AR!
Somebody was asking about Luwire Safaris recently. This hotel is owned by the same people, which should dispel any doubts as to professionalism etc.

ozhunterA hunting friend of mine drank at that place after he shot a Lion, Leopard, big Eland, Hippo, Sable and Nyassa Wilderbeast a short flight inland from there , all in about ten days.
Almost forgot, some gamefishing and more drinking also.
