The "Lefties" on this forum would regard Zimbo's statement as unadulterated racism.

And this is part of the problem with the world today. A true statement is deemed racist.

As we all know, our dear leftists believe in evolution, not intelligent design as us lesser mortals do, so you just approach the subject on their terms. Blacks are the only racial group with no DNA from the large-brained Neanderthals who lived in Europe. Modern humans did not come out of Africa; the African humanoids came out and mated with the Neanderthals and Denisovans to create a composite hybrid that is modern man. Therefore, we do not share a common ancestor. Forensic scientists determine race by cranium shape; Blacks have a small frontal lobe and sloping frontal plane and a smaller cranium-to-mandible ratio. Caucasoids have the largest craniums, an almost vertical frontal slope and a massive frontal lobe. The mongloloid is very similar and also more evolved. It is the frontal lobe that separates our behavior most from the animals and is responsible for language and rational thought. When humans evolved from Blacks they mated with the large-brained Neanderthals in southern Europe and created an increase in cranium capacity and a heavier, more developed brain (and pale skin, a sloped head and a single brow). At least 20% of the Neanderthal genome made its way into the 5s of human non-Black DNA. This is significant because there is only 1.5s difference between human and chimpanzee DNA. It is equivalent to having one Neanderthal great-great-great-grandparent. Blacks are the only race with no Neanderthal genes. According to studies of brain weight at autopsy, endocranial volume of empty skulls, head size measurements by the U.S. military and NASA, and two dozen MRI volumetric studies Blacks ' brain size is 5a smaller than Whites, and 6b smaller than Asians. There is a correlation of brain size with IQ of about 0.40 and that these racial differences in brain size are present at birth. Larger brains contain more neurons and synapses and process information faster; by adulthood, Asians average 1 cubic inch more cranial capacity than Whites who average 55 cubic inches more than Blacks. This is a genetic trait because even malnourished Asians from poor countries have a larger brain on average than well-fed Blacks from western countries. Blacks are the only race without the derived form of MCPH1 microcephalin called haplogroup D which appeared about 37, 000 years ago and is associated with increased brain volume. Further, this reflects what we observe in real life (including the so-called "Achievement Gap"). People have made long-term observations of the different races and reached rational conclusions; the more White a society is the more prosperous, inventive and safe it is. 19 of the 20 poorest countries are sub-Saharan African (Haiti). In sub-Saharan Africa the only countries that could be considered successful were White-governed, (Rhodesia and S. Africa). To this day they still can't even feed themselves even though they lived alone in Africa, a vast continent with temperate climates and abundant resources, for 60, 000 years. So, they cannot blame racism, poverty, imperialism or anything else for their failures. No pre-contact sub-Saharan African society ever created a written language, weaved cloth, invented the wheel or plow, or devised a calendar or system of measurement or complex math (arithmetic, algebra or geometry), built a multi-story structure, bridge or road or railway or ship, domesticated animals, exploited underground natural resources nor produced anything that could be considered a mechanical device until White colonizers did it for them.

What would you like me to say? Crime is crime and this happened in SA, no? Does it make SA a safer place ? Seems like Safari Operators are the only ones denying the high crime rate in SA...

Lal, As a fellow Eastern Caper, we(You and I) can't even begin to compare to what the happens in other provinces. In the Eastern Cape, we have it easy. Here, we have guys from the other areas, saying that is does not affect them, and I totally believe them. Had they been affected in ANY way, we would have read about it in the news, worldwide. You are very correct, we, as safari operators do look out for our businesses. It is our duty to INFORM hunters and prospective hunters, that when you hunt with us, it will be very unlikely that you will be affected in any way. The cities is were it's happening. Luckily for me, Intrepid Safaris and Shumba Safaris, we don't hunt in the cities. We are rather out there, showing our hunters a good time and what our culture is about , than sitting in a city thinking up shit. Marius, your Clients do not enter the city when they arrive ? You do not take them to buy curios or have lunch at a nice restaurant? If so, then that is a risk stop trying to deny it.

Lal, Don't be a moron. Of course they land in Port Elizabeth. We get in the truck and we leave for the hunting area. If they want to go somewhere before we depart, then I take them there. We're not in war zone Lal. You and I live in a very different Port Elizabeth then. My family and I still enjoy going to restaurants weekly, and take our guests with us, gladly. This is not Hillbrow. Think you've been on the Netflix too long. How old are you Lal? If you are in your 80's, then I understand about you feeling vulnerable. Crime can hit anyone. Anywhere. But are you going to let that dictate your life? Do I take my hunters to the backstreets of Central after dark? Or take them on drive to Motherwell? Stop playing the poor little South African affected by crime card, and grow a pair. You only have one life. Live it. LAL you make it sound like it is a war zone what the hell is your problem?? nobody is denying anything, all I have being trying to say these things happen all over, you were so quick to jump on here about the tragic and I mean very tragic death of that poor lady and blame it all on this "Violent COUNTRY" but your silence about the fact that the husband was arrested just showed that you obviously have alternative motives anyway good luck were ever you are, once again if this terrible violent country is not for you I am sure you will find a home some were else. Marius and I also take my clients to big cities often if they want to, we always go out to a nice restaurant before or after safari. You know what else I have lots of clients in Texas and most of them carry pistols in the cars does that now make Texas I dangerous place that we must all be afraid of... Africa 12 times now, NEVER felt uneasy in any situation any any trips. Not even when escorted to dinner with side are carrying guide. But growing up in the heart of Detroit, Sitting on your porch during the 67' riots with a loaded shotgun protecting your home, driving with a sawn off shotgun under the seat to pick up your grampa from the rubber plant at the end of the afternoon shift at midnight. Living in, the statically many times seen as the murder capital of the U S. Detroit Toughens you up a little. . Navigating downtown Detroit and even Chicago after the sun goes down will make your senses QUITE KEEN. Your aware of your surroundings and and what's going on. Act like prey and you will be prey. Look like prey and you will be prey. Leaving in 40 days for S A and AINT Worried one bit.

In Chicago, we are finally warming enough that the shots fired and body count become the headline news. It's Sat morning here and we going to have a beautiful weekend...lots of people will be out on the streets tonight Sadly the predicted news for Sun will be about 15-20 shots fired events and 8-12 deaths. I've lived in the Chicago area my entire life...is it worse...absolutely. I just keep the 1911s loaded. I leave for Jo'burg July 5th with no more concern than I have when walking down Michigan Ave. Bob DRSS DSC SCI NRA & ISRA

Hi, Very interesting thread for me. I have with great interest read throughit and followed the news from South Africa the last couple of years. My first time I went to South Africa 15 years ago I went alone to experience the country I had read so much about. I landed in Eastern Cape, Port Elizabeth. 1 month later I had a family number 2, a crazy SA family that I have visited. 2010 my whole family has visited. My parents went down again in 2013 by themselves to visit our now joint Norwegian-South African family. It`s great place and great people. Sometimes I live with the south africans and the latest two trips I also go hunting with KMG safaries and Marius Goosen So for my South Africa came first then hunting. Now I would never go there without hunting. Best of two worlds! Since I started just visiting I have done all the classic SA stuff. Like buying liqour in a shabeen in Walmer township at night, beeing drunk in central alone at night, I stayed in a flat there for most of my trip with my new friends and so one Remember i was 20 years, when this happened. Would not do it now.I would though still go to merinos butchery to buy the best meat in town, drive through central at daytime, going out for a beer or 10 with my friends at almost any place they would go. That said. I wish they start doing something with the way SA is run. It`s crazy that someone haven`t thrown Zuma in jail with the rest of his corrupt croonies. My hope is that DA will get stronger in eastern cape also. If they can turn the western cape around, they can do the same if they get the votes in EC as well. Crossing fingers. Don`t want the trend to continue, but if the ANC still runs the country it will for sure get worse for every day. I have been 5 times to PE, 3 times in Cape Town and 1 time in Johannesburg. Combined almost 4 months. Will I stop going, NO I will not. Do I take precautions, yes. I try to think smart about what to do and where to go. If you get killed in SA chances are that traffic will get you. People are too fond of driving drunk and fast. Would I leave this gang alone with the spit braai!? So Marius, save some animals for me You know I have a warthog and bushbuck with my name on them

Before 1994, I have had a car broken into once. Personally I have experienced this since 1994: * My daughter's house has been broken into six times, once while she was there and sleeping. * My father and mother in law was robbed and beaten on their farm. They are in their 80s and my father in law has physically not recovered well from this. * Two close friends were robbed and killed for less than R150.00 (about US$12.00) in separate incidents. * Several close friends were robbed, hijacked or had their property stolen (including houses cleaned out completely). * I have had a car stolen. * My car has been broken into. * The shop next door to our factory has been robbed at gunpoint 6 times. * In one instance I heard the commotion, went to investigate and had a knife pulled on me. * I have been threatened with physical violence and violence to my family to drop charges against two traffic policemen. These things happen all over the world but how often do they happen to a single average person not living or working in a ghetto? In addition, the following is happening: * Government systems are slowly breaking down. * Applying for anything always involves a fee up front. You pay and then you wait, sometimes for years. * Electricity supply is unreliable and maintenance to roads, water supply and general infrastructure is only done when it breaks down. * Sometimes infrastructure is just left broken down and we do without. * Traffic rules are ignored and it seems that only speed fines are levied. * South Africa has one of the best constitutions in the world - It is largely ignored. * It is the only country where legislation economically 'protects' the majority race against the 'minority' race. * Crime results in a very low arrest rate. Coupled to court conviction rates, less than 10% of crime results in a conviction. The consequences are: * The highest murder rate in the world. * One of the highest crime rates in the world. * An unemployment rate approaching 40% (but we are not sure about this as 'official' figures are suspect and out of date). * 3.2 Million people paid 99% of the income tax out of a population of 50 million. * About 30% of the population receives a government grant of some sort. Hunting in South Africa is perfectly safe, it is living in SA and running a small manufacturing business that is the challenge.
