Does not matter whether ANYONE else thinks another mans wife is beautiful or ugly, that is a subject that should NOT be brought onto/into the discussions on this or any other site. A members spouse or family has nothing at all to do with that members ideas or opinions on ANY subject and No One should bring those folks into a discussion for any reason. Also, ANYONE, I don't care who it is, that honestly believes anyone else would/will take the time to go and have a personal, face to face confrontation with another person over the  that takes place on ANY internet site like this one, is delusional!Think about it folks, are any of us really stupid enough to show up at another members home and try and whoop their ass over comments made on an internet chat-room? Based on the juvenile level of his comments, I would guess that ZK is either a teenager or in his early 20's... Out on the internet, trying to be big and bad, talking trash, getting attention, etc, etc. A basic time waster for all of us. I know a secret the rest of you do not know, or at least I am pretty sure about it. ZK is not a 15 year old. He is simply stating opinions, that while I do not necessarily agree with all of them, I do see his point on some of them. While I do not agree with some of his delivery, it is his choice. As I eluded to earlier, on every internet site I have visited and unfortunately that includes AR, there are/is a clique/gang mentality that rears its ugly head from time to time, and it can be traced back to individuals that for whatever reason/circumstance have developed a rapport among themselves and anyone that does not adhere/abide/conform to the "hinted" rules of conformity, is black listed. This happens to one degree or another on all sites and from experience, it has resulted in the "Death" so to speak of many sites. Accurate Reloading is as good as it gets, as far as reasonable moderation, interesting content and active/knowledgeable/helpful membership, but as with every other site, there are those cliques/buddy groups, that form their own little Kangaroo Courts, that sit in judgment on anyone not meeting their "Standards". As one that has created more than my share of controversy on this site, I actually do appreciate the fact that the moderation on here is, from my experience on here and other such sites, reasonable, in spite of some opinions, and not Draconian or totally influenced/dictated by the cliques/clans/gangs. I personally am grateful for a site where the majority are more interested in sharing information/knowledge than getting into cat fights. Even the rocks don't last forever. | |||

It would be an interesting study to compare the number of views/posts to ZK's website before and after this thread. It was dying before and now a resurrection is completely hopeless. It is also interesting that ZK has come to the defense of Shootaway but Shootaway is mute towards ZK now. Yes we definitely have our "trash threads" but there are enough good threads to help offset them. The solution to the trash threads, if they offend you, (this includes me)don't read or participate in them. It is truly a sad commentary on the life one has led when they have to post on an on-line hunting blog under multiple anonymous names . . . is there any more dramatic statement of a life not well lived? I have been a member here for several years now. Like most, I read a lot more than I post. I've learned a lot here and enjoy reading the discussions of topics that are interesting to me. I try to contribute when I have something relevant to say. I'm sorry it's taken me this long to say this, but: Saeed, thank you for providing the most valuable hunting resource on the internet. It is greatly appreciated. Personally, I wouldn't change a thing. I wouldn't ban people or censor their posts. When a guy like this "Zombie Killer" makes an asinine post, I'd encourage people to simply ignore it. You don't even need to use the technical "ignore" feature to ignore him, just ignore him. If someone posts something that is FACTUALLY incorrect, and an incorrect statement of facts impacts the reputation of someone else or somehow might adversely impact someone else, that factual misstatement should be corrected. Outside of that, in my opinion this should be a self-regulating group of people who enjoy hunting and shooting and discussing topics relevant to our avocation. If we simply ignore people who are obviously simply stirring the pot, they'll stop doing it. And even if they don't, who cares? Just move on. I don't care what this idiot has to say, so I'll just move on to the next post. . . . | |||
